The Notice Inviting Sealed Bids <br />requested bidders to sign and date the Specification Sheet. Towne Ford signed, but did <br />not date, the Specification Sheet. Staff recommends that the City Council waive this <br />minor irregularity and accept Towne Ford's bid as the irregularity was not the result of <br />fraudulent intent on the part of the bidder and the best interests of the public would be <br />served by such waiver. This decision is authorized by the Notice Inviting Sealed Bids <br />and Section 2.68(C) of the Purchasing Ordinance. The Notice Inviting Sealed Bids <br />states: <br />
