ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />a. Edward Escobedo,1156 Cleveland, objected to having been cited for parking in <br />a red zone at the driveway adjacent to his home and suggested his neighbor <br />should be cited also and that the red curb is not necessary. <br />M /S: Bury /Claire to refer the comments of Edward Escobedo to staff. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. MINUTE ORDER NO. 88 -162 <br />WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS <br />There being no objection, Mayor Greenalch ordered item 16. be considered out of <br />order at this time <br />16. Request from Kainos re proposal for acquisition of <br />the TEWCI Building dated 10/17/88 <br />C.A. Trifeletti, Kainos Board Member, 1041 Twain Oaks, said that Kainos <br />believes it may be possible to work out a purchase of the TEWCI Building <br />which is satisfactory to the City and requested representatives of the City <br />Council meet with him and representative of TEWCI to discuss it. <br />M /S: Bury /Murray that the Mayor appoint Vice Mayor LaBerge and Councilman <br />Stangel, who have volunteered, to meet with representatives of Kainos and <br />TEWCI to see if there is some potential for purchase of the TEWCI Building <br />for use by Kainos at an acceptable price. <br />CLARIFICATION: City Manager Smith noted for the record that the City Council <br />intent expressed at the meeting of October 3, 1988 was that the City must <br />receive the full appraised value for the TEWCI Building. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. MINUTE ORDER NO. 88 -163 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />b.
