Trustee Rice seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that City Attorney Mansfield be dele- gated to represent the Board at convention of California League of municipalities to be held at Santa Cruz,september 21,1909. Motion carried. Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Beeger,moved that the superintendent of Streets be directed to replank bridges on Redwood Avenue and County, Road and Jefferson Avenue near Davis Street. Motion carried. Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that Supterintendent of Streets be autli. orized to place new hoops and other necessary repairs on tanks at Water Works. Motion carried. Trustee Rice presented the following resolution and moved its adoption. Whereas,the board of trustees of. the town of Redwood 01tY,by resolution passed and adopted on the 24th day of May,1909,and now on file in the office of the clerk of said town of Redwood City,to which reference is hereby made and the same made a part hereof, did declare as foliows,to-wit: 1. That the public interest 'and convenience required that the roadway of certain streets and portions of streets designated and set.forth'in said resolution and situate and being in what is commonly known as Dingee Parkin the town of Redwood CitY,state of California,as laid down and delineated on the map of Re -subdivision of Dingee Park,fiied in the office of the recorder of the county of San Mateo July Sth,190$,and recorded in book .6,of maps at pages 25 and 26,records of said county. of San Mateo,be graded to the official grade for macadamizing and be macadamized. 2. That.the public interest and convenience required that cement sidewalks be con - atructed on certain streets and portions of streets in said Dingee Parkas designated and set forth in said resolution. 3. That the public interest and convenience required that cement curbs be construct- ed on certain streets and portions of streets in said Dingee Park,as designated and set forth in said resolution. 4. That the public interest and convenience required that cement gutters be con- structed on certain streets .and portions of streets in said Dingee Parkas designated and ..set forth in said resolution. 5. That the public interest and convenience required that sewers be constructed on certain streets and portions of streets in said Dingee Parkas designated and set forth in said resolution, 6. That the public interest and convenience required that manholes be constructed on certain streets and portions of streets 'in said Dingee Park,as designated and set forth in said resolution. 7.
