Neuman,said Civil Engineer,and the• exhibits <br />attached therato,and on the 23rd day of January ,1911,did duly and regularly pass and adopt <br />a resolution adopting said report of said James V.Neiiman and -the exhibits attached thereto <br />and in by said resolution did levy an assessment upon and against the real property con- <br />tained within the exterior boundaries of the district shown and delineAed upon the ex - <br />if habits dttaehed to, said report of said James V. Nauman, which said resolution is described <br />in said resolution,and which said district is therein declared to be: -benefitted by the <br />proposed improvements and assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof ,and the said as- <br />sr.essment is in and by said resolution apportioned among and levied against the various <br />subdivisions of real property contained within the district as the Sam& appear upon the <br />map of said distrd:t,*being Exhibit No. 5 attached to said report of said James V. Neuman, <br />'f according to the benefits which the respective subdivisions and parcels will receive from <br />said improvements, and in and by said resolution said Board of Trustees did set forth the <br />following: <br />essment 1, The rate of interest to be charged upon deferred payments; 2. the time to by allowed <br />ed and <br />blishin8 <br />by <br />sed and <br />of # , _ - <br />declare I . <br />Upon deferred payments; 3. the rate of interest to be allowed, upon bonds issued to cover <br />deferred payments; 4. the time for which bonds issued to cover deferred payments are to <br />rte; 5, the day and hour when and where any and all persons may appear before said Board <br />Of Trustees and show cause if any they have,why said improvements progided for in said <br />resolution should not be carried out in accordance therewith; 6. a description of the ex- <br />terior boundaries of the district declared by said Board of Trustees to be benefitted by <br />the proposed improvements and assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof; and in and <br />by said, resolution said Board of Trustees did designate the district therein described as <br />°Assessment District No. 15" (to which resolution reference is hereby made for further par- <br />ticulars and the same mdde a part hereof.); and <br />That the public interest and convenience required that the <br />ng <br />roadway of certain streets <br />or <br />and portions of streets designated and set forth in said resolution <br />and situate in the <br />Town of Redwood CitY,be graded to the official grade for macadaMIZ1ng <br />niform <br />and be macadamised <br />and oiled; <br />AND WHEREAS, said Board of Trustees in and by said resolution,did refer to James <br />V.. <br />UP edge <br />Neuman, a civil engineer,who was by said resolution emplored by said Board of Trustees <br />(there being .no city or town engineer of or for said Town),the work hereinbefore <br />mention - <br />grease <br />ed and proposed, by said resolution for the purpose of doing and performing <br />„all; acts re- <br />quired of the said civil engineer by the provisions,of "The Local Improvement Act Iof 1901" <br />and did instruct said James V.
