i� <br />2 <br />JAI; <br />EriP <br />Trustee Brown, seconded by Trustee Hynding,moved that the bid of T.0 -Rice be accepted <br />and contract awarded to him, and the checks of unsuccessful bidders be returned. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />Ayes Trustees, Brown, Hynding, Merrill. <br />Noes Trustees, None. <br />Absent Trustees, Beeger, Sampson. <br />Attorney Kincaid addressed the Board in the interest of property owners in District <br />14,Dingee Parkin the matter of refunding surplus funds. <br />It was explained by the Board that in a few weeks,after all contracts are completed <br />and accepted,both districts in Dingee Park would be in legal shape for refunding, <br />Mr Landscheit addressed <br />the Board relative <br />to having certain <br />streets in <br />Wellesley <br />Park watered,the same taking <br />about 5 additional <br />loads of water. <br />The matter <br />was referred to <br />Trustee Hynding of the Public works. Committee who stated the amount -asked for could prob- <br />ably be arranged for after going over the matter with superintendent of Streets Dickey. <br />The oiling of streets in Wellesley Park was taken under advisement. <br />Trustee Brown, seconded by Trustee Hynding, moved that Donald MacKenzie be employed as <br />superintendent of Construction for the Town Hall and Center street bridge,with compensa- <br />tion at 05.00 per day for working days only. Motion carried. <br />Town Clerk,(. C. Plump, Chairman of Committee on Public Works,C, J. Hynding, and <br />Superintendent of Constructlon,Donald MacKenzie,were authorized to look into the matter <br />of furnishing for fire proof vault,Combination steel door etc. <br />Ordinance No. 106. <br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown, moved that Ordinance No. 106,An Ordinance <br />Imposing a license tax on all persons doing business in the Town of Redwood Cit y,intro= <br />duced June 2691911, be adopted. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />Ayes Trustees, Brornn, Hynding, Merrill. <br />Noes Trustees, None. <br />Absent Trustees, Beeger, Sampson. <br />Trustee Brown, seconded by Trustee Hynding, moved that Superintendent of Streets <br />Dickey be gaoanted leave of absence for two weeks. Motion carried. <br />The Inspector employed bn Dingee Park work is to continue the inspection of retaining <br />wall,bridges etc. on County Road. <br />Trustee Brown, seconded by Trustee Hynding,- moved to adjourn.
