<br />The regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees was held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present, Trustees, Pre S. Geo. A. Merrill,
<br />Geo.A.Deleau,.J.J.Hahir, C.J.Hynding, E.H.Sampson, and Town Clerk, G.C.Plump.
<br />The minutes of the meetings held June 17th., and June 25th., were read.
<br />113 I On motion of Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Deleau and carried , the same were a
<br />approved.
<br />A.communlcatlon from the County Board of Supervisors relative to -t 4
<br />taking over the County Road in the City Limits, to be included in the proposed bond Issue
<br />.was, on motion of Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Deleau, and carried, received and
<br />filed to be taken under advisement.
<br />The application of James Demitropolus for a C1ass.D liquor license,
<br />accompanied by a bond, was , upon motion of Trustee Sampson, seconded by Trustee
<br />Hynding, and carried, granted.
<br />The affidavit of D.E.O+Keefe, of the Times -Gazette, in the matter of
<br />publishing notice of Proposals for Street work, was, upon motion of Trustee Hynding, seconded
<br />by Trustee Deleau, and carried, received and filed.
<br />A report from the Advisory Assessment Board was presented, in which
<br />the members of said Board asked to be relieved from acting as such Board, t:::•
<br />Trustee Hynding moved that the report be received.and the thanks of the Board be extended
<br />to each member, the Clerk to notify them to that effect.
<br />The matter of adjusting the Assessment Roll was referred to the Finance Committee.
<br />A communication from the war Department relative to the Statistics of
<br />.Tonnage. delivered via Redwood Creek, was referred to the Board of Trade.
<br />H.Steinberger appeared before the Board complaining about rubbish being
<br />dumped on Deep Water.road . The Marshall was instructed to enforce the Ordinance
<br />covering sp.ch matters.
<br />On motion of Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Deleau, and carried,
<br />Mr.Oxnard and Mr.Lent were granted permission to lay 22 inch pipe under supervision
<br />of the Supt, of Streets, for the purpose of obtaining water as previously granted by
<br />the Board.
<br />Trustee Hahir introduced the following Resolution and mored Its adoption
<br />RESOLUTION rescinding Resolutions passed and adopted June 17th., 1912.
<br />WHEREAS,
<br />The Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did, on the 17th. day of June,
<br />1912, pass and adopt a Resolution ordering the Town Engineer to prepare plans and
<br />specifications for the construction of the following named macadam and. oil streets in
<br />said Town, to -wit:
<br />Alden Street, Brewster Avenue, Fuller Street, Bradxord. Street Marshall
<br />Street, Winslow Street, Hamilton Street, WebsOr Street, Warren Street, Allerton street,
<br />East Marshal Street, East Bradford Street, East Fuller Street and Washington Street,
<br />and,WHEREAS,
<br />The Town Engineer did, on the 17th, day of June , submit to the said Board
<br />of Trustees, plans, specifications, profiles and estimates for building said macadam
<br />and,oiled streetsaoove tia]iida ,
<br />and, WHEREAS,
<br />said Board of Trustees did, on the 1(th. clay of June, 1912, pass, and adopt
<br />a Resolution adopting the plans, specifications, profiles and estimates so submitted
