0 <br />ng <br />E <br />dollars and fifty cents ( $7.50) for the <br />025,000. -Redwood City Municipal Improvement <br />as described in your Ordindnee N0.119. , <br />Herewith is our certified check for five hundred (4500) dollars as part payment <br />Yours Very Trul <br />' y, <br />G.G.Blymyer & 00, <br />On motion df Trustee Hynding, seconded by Tbustee Hahir, <br />, and carried the a*o <br />bid was accepted. <br />ve <br />The follovring"ResolutIon on Sale of Bonds to G,G.Blymyer & Co." was presented by <br />Trustee Hynding, who moved its adoption, seconded by Trustee Hahir, <br />WHEREAS, <br />at a special election duly called and held in the Town of RedwoOd Oity, <br />on the 5th. day of April, 1912, the following propositions were submitted to the electors <br />of said Town, to -wit: <br />(a) A proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness of said Town in the sum <br />of five thousand ( 05000) dollars for the purpose of paYfng the cost of certain street work <br />. in said TOwn; <br />(b) <br />A proposition <br />to ,incur <br />a bonded indebtedness of <br />.said To'wri in the sum <br />of twenty thousand <br />0320,000) dollars <br />for the <br />purpose of Being- paying <br />the cost of certain <br />other street work; <br />(c) A proposition to incur a bonded 'indebtedness of said Town in the sum <br />of seven thousand (07,000) dollars for the purpose of paying the cost of an automobile <br />combination chemical fire` engine; <br />407. <br />(d) A proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness of said Town in the sum <br />of five thousand ( $5) 000 ) dollars for the purpose of paying the coat of improving and extend- <br />ing the Municipal Electric Street Lighting system of said Town; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />thereafter,to-witon the 15th. day of April 1912, this Board did canvas the <br />votes cast at said election and did determine the number thereof cast in favor of and agairst <br />each of said propositions , and did determine that propositions hereinabove designated "a", "b", a <br />and "d" had been duly carried; ,and <br />WHEREAS, <br />thereafter, to -w -t • on the 6th, day of May, 19129 this Board duly adopted <br />an Ordinance numbered 117, prOviding.for the issuance of thirty thousand ($30t000) dollars <br />in Bonds of said City for the purposes set forth in said propositions "a", "b" and "d". <br />respectively; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />said bonds were thereafter duly offered for sale and the same were <br />awarded to Messrs G.G•Blymyer & Company, said Company being the best ]udder therefor; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />It was thereafter ascertained that said proposition "d" though it had <br />received the votes of more $Ilan two-thirds of the voters voting thereon, had failed to <br />receive the votes of two-thirds Of the voters voting at said special election, and that for <br />that reason bonds for the purpose set forth in said proposition "d" were not authoPized to <br />be issued; and <br />WHEKEAS, was repealed and on to -wit: the 25th <br />accordingly said Ordinance No. 117 <br />say of ,Tune, 1912, anew Ordinance NO -1.19t was duly. adopted to take the placeous�id Ordi�lance <br />• my -five th <br />No. 117, which said new Ordinance provided for the issuance oftwe • <br />Purposes set forth in pj'o� ositions Na" ' <br />(251000) dollars Ili bonds of said Town for the pur P <br />and iib„; anti <br />
