Twenty-five hundred (2500) feetymore or less,of four -inch cast iron water pipe to be <br />laid on Hopkins Avenue in said town,pipe to be connected with later main on Hudson Street. <br />Twelve hundred (1200) feet,more or less,of four -inch cast iron water pipe to be laid <br />on Woodstock P1ace,Melrose Place and Arlington Road in said town,pipe to be connected with <br />water mains on 'Whipple Avenue,Edgewood Road and Somerset street, <br />Eight hundred (800) feet,more or less,of four -inch cast iron water pipe to be laid on <br />EdgelATOod Road in said town,pipe to be connected with water mains on Edgewood Road. <br />Twenty (20) fire hydrants to be installed where directed by the Superintendent of <br />Streets,of said town, and necessary fittings. <br />Ten (10) gate valves to be Installed where directed by the Superintendent of Streets <br />of said town. <br />Motion carried. <br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that Superintendent of Streets be <br />authorized to purchase 10 bales of oakum and 1000 pounds of lead,to finish reservoir job. <br />Motion carried. <br />ordinance No. a3. <br />Trustee Blee,seconded by Trustee Hynding,moved the introduction of Ordinance No, 83. <br />An Ordinance to regulate and limit the speed of AutomobIle s,Mot or-care ,Uotor-cycles and <br />other vehicles in the Town of Redwood City. Motion carried. <br />Trustee Rice offered the following resolution and moved its adoption, to -wit: <br />The Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City do hereby resolve and determine as <br />follows, to -wit : <br />Section 1. That the public interest and public necessity of said municipallty,said <br />Town of Redwood. City,and of the inhabitants thereof,demand the acquisition,construction acid <br />completion of the following municipal improvement -s for and in said Town of Redwood O1tY,to- <br />WIt ;- <br />Land for the right of way for the extension of Phelps Street from Main Street to Jef- <br />ferson Street in said Town of Redwood City; <br />That the estimated cost of said right of way is the sum of fifteen thousand ($15,000) <br />dollars. <br />Section lie That the public interest and public necessity of said municipality, said <br />Town of Redwood City,and of the inhabitants thereof ,demand the acquisition, construction. an <br />completion of the following municipal improvement for and in said. Town of Redwood CitY,to- <br />wit ;- <br />A building for municipal uses,namely,a Town Hall. <br />x <br />That the estimated cost of said buildi09 is the sum of fifteen thousand ($159000) dol- <br />lars . <br />ol- <br />Lars. <br />Section 111.
