Absent,Trustee Beeger. <br />Clerk reports receipt of communicat?ton from Lohman & Co. relative to the reconstructed <br />lighting system. <br />Trustee Brown,seconded by 'Trustee Hynding,moved that said. report' be received and filed, <br />Motion carried. <br />communication from Board of Underwriters was received and 'filed pending further im- <br />provements to fire alarm system. <br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Hynding;,moved. that Superintendent of Streets make con- <br />nections to water mains and install two water pressure gauges at Mr Lovie's office and res <br />idence of Superintendent of Streets. Motion carried. <br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Rice,moved that the City Attorney correspond. with <br />Congressman Hayes urging the completion of dredging Redwood Creek. Motion carried. , <br />City Attorney reports looking up minutes .of the Board of Supervisors in the matter of <br />closing McKinle�4 Avenue and portions of Cleveland and Davis Streets. <br />It was the sense of the Board that property owners interested should present a new pe- <br />tition to the Board for the closing of said Streets and to pay for the incidental expenses <br />incurred. thereto, <br />City Attorney reports having sample ballots printed to be "mailed to voters. <br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown,moved said action be approved.Motion carried.. <br />Communication from San Mateo Board of Trade relative to tax to be imposed by Board of <br />Supervisors for County Building at Panama Canal Exposition in 1915. <br />Trustee Rice,seconded. by Trn,stee Brown,moved that commuri.ation. be received. and filed <br />and matter taken under advisement as it was considered to important for hasty action. <br />Motion carried. <br />Trustee Brotnn,seconded. by Trustee Rice,moved. to adjourn.
