I o]:ved that the said Board of Trustees hereby rejects all of said proposals or bide '181 except that next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvements to the lowest regular responsible bidder,to-wit;A.Hess & Co.at the prices named in their bid. �i The Town Clork is hereby directed to post notice of this award conspicuously for five days,on or near the council chamber door of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, and also to pikblish said notice by two insertions in the Times Gaaette,a weekly news- paper,published,printed and circulated in said Town, there being no daily paper in Said Town, and hereby designated by said Board of Trustees for that pgrpose. Serial bonds bearing interset at the rate of seven per cent per annum and extending over the period of nine years from the second day of January next succeeding their date shall be issued to represent assessments of twenty five dollars or over for the costs and expense of said work and,said work and improvements and in manner and form provided by law. All the herein proposed work and improvements shall be done in pursuance of and in con- formity with an Act of the Legislature of the State of California,entitled,"Improvement'Act of 1912 " approved April 7th.191I and acts amendatory thereof. RESOLVED.by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that the official. grades of the following named streets,avenues,roads,and places in the Town of Redwood City at the points and places hereinafter mentioned be, and the same are hereby fixed and established as follows, tovwit; Center line of Broadway at center line of Arguello Street extending at 8 feet above base. Center line of Arguello Street at cehter line of Marshall street extended at 7.5 feet above base. Center line of Marshall street at center line of Warren street extended at 6.6 feet above base: Center line of Arguello street at center line of Bradford street extended at 7.7 feet above base.
