<br />r• That the nature of its title to all of said real property is that of pwaer;
<br />That.it objects to and protests against the levying of said and additional assessment
<br />upon the following grounds;
<br />I;- That-no improvement is contemplated in said resolui.Uon.
<br />2;-That the improvement in said resolution referred to has heretofore been completed
<br />b. and accepted and full payment therefor has heretofore been made.
<br />r . 3;-That assessment against the lands of 1his protest ,as hereinabove described, for
<br />payment of all cost,charges and expense for the improvement referred toin'said resolution
<br />f has heretofore been levied and payment in full thereof has heretofore been made by this
<br />protestant.
<br />x. 4;- That the proposed levying of this second and additional assessment as provided for,
<br />in said resolution is without warrant of law and is for proposed paymeit,, of claim barred
<br />by the Statue of limitations of the State of Olaifornia.
<br />WHEREFOREysaid Redwood Highlands Company, a corporation,objects to said proposed levying
<br />? of a second and additional.assessment, and prays that no further proceedings be taken in
<br />the matter.

<br />Gentlemen;
<br />Ethel Pissis, the undersigned,is the owner of a tract of 40,062 actes in. the
<br />Town of Redwood City and within the assessment district designated as number 13,02
<br />the Town of Redwood City.
<br />My attention has been called to a printed "Notice of Improvement" which was
<br />' posted on a portion of the premises owned by me, and which notice id dated February
<br />3,1920,signed by W.A.Price,Clerk of-the Town of Redwood City and ex-officio Clerk
<br />of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, and states that.March Ist.
<br />1920, at 7;30 o'clock p.m. of said day,has been fixed for the hearing of all owners
<br />or persons interested in any real property within said" Assessment District No. 13"
<br />to show cause whir a second and 'additional assessment should not become a lien upon .
<br />such lands.
<br />The undersigned hereby protests and objects to any action being taken by the
<br />Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,at the meeting to be held on the Ist.
<br />day of March,1920,or at any other time,, the result of which action will be or cause
<br />a lien upon t e premises, or any part of the premises,owned by the undersigned.
<br />A The undersigned states that Gerogia Pissis,her predecessor in interest and
<br />former owner of said premises,paid the full amount of the street assessment assessed
<br />against said property;that is,paid the following amounts on the following dates;
