C. Jones. City Clerk W.A.Price. Absent Trustee Geo.A.Kreiss, <br />Minutes of the regular meeting held March Ist.1920,regular adjourned meeting held <br />March 3,1920 and special meeting held March 8th.I920,were read and on motion of Trustee <br />Jones,seconded by Trustee I,Ic.Nulty and carried same be approved as read. <br />Communication from Mrs. Chas. 13. Knights soliciting fire insurance on the new fire house <br />was .on motion of Trustee Me.Nulty,seconded. by Trustee Jones same be received and filed <br />for future reference,Motion Carried. <br />Application pf Court Madrone Hall Assn.for a permit to hold a 301hlock dance in ' <br />Forester's Hall April 3rd,and April IOth.1920 was on motion of Trustee Jones,seconded, <br />by Trustee Ryan,same be granted.Motion Carried. <br />Application of M.Duarte for position of Fire Truck Driver was on motion of Trustee <br />Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty,same be received and filed for future reference,Mbtion <br />Carried. <br />Application of Ben Hammer of 1150 Golden Gate Avenue,Sar Francisco for a permit to <br />collect junk,was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Hones,said: permit be <br />granted.Motio4 Carried. <br />Application of Sam Edelstein of Palo Alto for. a Junk Peddlers License in the Town,was <br />on motion of Trustee IZc.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Jones,said permit be granted on the <br />0 <br />payment of the required license fee,11otion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Jones,seconded by Trustee Ryan.the clerk be authorized to <br />purchase an Official Map of San Mateo County, the cost of same to be the sum of Two <br />dollars and fifty cents,llotion Carried. <br />Communication from Baird-Bailhache Companyregarding the heating system in the -New <br />Fire House was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Jones,same be received and <br />filed/mor future reference.Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Mc.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Jones,C.J.Lindgren having finished <br />his contract on Broadway,Washington,Webster and Maple Street Bridges a warrant be <br />drawn in his favor in the sum of 0 5883.84 less the claim of 0 I:,34i-.j3,` stopped by A. <br />Hess & Company,IIotion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mo.Nulty a warrant in the amount of <br />0 4030.35 <br />be <br />drawn in favor of Blanchard <br />Crocker,& Howell <br />for.amount due on assessment <br />No -I-3-4 & <br />5 <br />same being payment in full <br />for Webster.Street <br />Improvement,11otion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Mc.Nul-ty,seconded by Trustee Jones a warrant in the amount of <br />Fifty Bollars be drawn in favor of the City Clerk same to be used in the office for <br />change and expense account.Motion Carried. <br />Trustee Mc.Nulty offers the following ORDINANCE and moves its adoption,Trustee Jomes <br />seconds the motion, <br />ORDINANCE NO.205. <br />----------------------- <br />
