<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town.of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present; -Trustees President M.E.Ryan,Carl X.Aiabte,H.C.Tuohsen,
<br />Geo.W.McNulty,Geo.A.Mreiss,City Clerk W.A.Priee,
<br />Minutes bf the regular meeting held April 19th.1920 was read and on motion of Trustee
<br />Sreiss,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried same be approved as read,
<br />Application of Ella M.Eaton applying for placing of fire risk on the City New Fire House
<br />was on motion of Trustee Mc.NultTizeconded by Trustee Sreiss and carried,same be received
<br />and filed for future reference.
<br />Moved by Trustee•Sreiss,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the different applications for'the
<br />placing of Fire Insurance on the new Fire House be referred to the Finance Committee
<br />for their Consideration in the amount to be placed and in what Companies, and to report
<br />at next meeting,Motion Carried,
<br />Moved 'y Trustee Me.Hulty,seeonded by Trustee Xreise,on the recommendation of the City
<br />Engineer,a warrant cin the amount of 0 20000.00 -be drawn in favor of Dreyfus Bros.on
<br />their OUTFALL SEWER CONTRACT,Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee blabie,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty and carried, the Finance Committee
<br />and Supt,of Streets confer with Mr. Felix regarding trees in Redwood Highlands, and set
<br />a prioe,on what trees that have to come out ,Motion Carried,
<br />Om motion of Trustee Mabie,sedonded by Trustee Sreiss, the City Attorney be instructed
<br />to amend Ordinance # 179,whereby giving the Board the right to issue Boxing Bout permits,
<br />when it is so desired,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set poles on
<br />Steinberger Street,as per BLUEPRINT N0.366 -R, was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seoonded
<br />R by Trustee Mc.Nulty.and carried said permit be granted.
<br />Application of Mr.H.E.Clayburgh for having City Water supplied at his place in the White.,
<br />Oaks Tract,was on motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Sreiss, the matter be
<br />` referred to the Supt,of Water to take up the matter with Mr.Clayburgh and to take the
<br />I same
<br />procedure as. with other outside consumers.Motion Carried.

<br />Dear Sir;
<br />On behalf -,of the Company of Apprentice Seaman and the.Band from
<br />this Naval Training Station who participated in the events at
<br />Redwood City's Aviation Day on May Ist,I thank•you,the Committee
<br />and the citizens of Redwood City most heartily for the cordi5.1
<br />reception given these young men of the Navy and the splendid
<br />time they had in your city,
<br />We all participated in the pride and pleasure they experience
<br />in bringing back with them the handsome silver cup awarded for
<br />"Best Turnout Regular Military Organization."

<br />Whereupon it was moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty,said communication
<br />be received and filed, and the Clerk be instructed to acknowledge same,Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Sreiss,seconded, by Trustee Mc.Nulty.on the recommendation of the
<br />City Engineer Dimmitt,J.H.Wilson,Contractor pn Concrete Bridges ,a warrant be drawn
<br />in the amount of 0 1500.00 it being 75p of work now done.Motion Carried.
