<br />?'THuRE::S, at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood
<br />City, a municipal corporation,duly held on the 16th.day of July,I023, there was presented
<br />to and filed with said Board of Trustees ofr.said Town, of Redwood City, a nunmcipal corpor
<br />ation,situate in the County of San LIa,teo,State of California, a certain petition signed
<br />by not less than one-tenth(I/IO) in number of all the qualified,electors of said Town of
<br />Redwood Ci.ty,coriputed upon the number of votes cast at the last general municipal election
<br />held in said town.,which said petition prayer, a::ong other things, that certain territory
<br />in said petition and hereinafter particularly dese ibod, and situate within the boundaries
<br />of the Town of Redwood City, a •..nnicipal corporation, be excluded therefrom; and
