<br />On motion of Trustee lileNulty, seconded by Trustee Nabie and carried, the minutes of June
<br />16th.1924 be dispensed with .

<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRIIIING ASSESSMENT.
<br />Whereas, there was filed in the office of the Clerk of the Ton of Redwood City on the I9th.
<br />,day of Tday,1924, the assessrient for the street work done under that certain contract dated
<br />September 20th.IQ23,between T.M.GallaghernFirs't party, and C.L.Dirrmitt as Superintendent
<br />of Streets of the Town. of Redwood City as second party for the improving of certain streets
<br />i
<br />in the town of Redwood City,described in Resolution of Intention Yo.F-9.Passed and adopted
<br />by the Board of Trustees of said Tovm of Redwood City,on the 16th.day of July,1923,to which
<br />'Resolution of Intention No.F-9 reference is hereby made for the description and location of
<br />said work and improvements.
<br />AND 1HEREAS, this is the time fixed at which owners, contractors or any persons interested
<br />in said work done under said Resolution of Intention or in the assessh:ent th refore,feelirg
<br />aggrieved,by any act of the Superintendent of Streets in relation thereto,or who claim that
<br />the work has not been performed according to the contract or who claim that any portion of
<br />the work was omitted of illegally included in the contract,or any person having or r:ialcing
<br />any objection to the correctness of t1a assesser.,An or diagram could appeal 'to the Board of
<br />Trustees of said Town of Redwood City,by briefly stating in writing their grounds of ap.eal.
<br />AND WHEREAS,it appears from the affidavit of Jas.D.l`edge,nov on file in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said Town that the notice of filing said assesserrtn and the hearing thereon,was
<br />duly and legally published,as required by law.
<br />AND 1,11HBREIkS,it appears from the affidavit of iV.A.Price,'-'own Clerk,that notice of the filing
<br />said assessment and hearing thereon was duly posted ,that post card notices of said hearing
<br />were duly and legally mailed to the owners of the lots laibale for said assessment according
<br />to the nar,ies and addresties a-%pearing on the last equalized assessment roll for tour t -axes,
<br />and

<br />WHEREAS,it appears that no tip eals were taken and no written objections of any kind were
<br />made to said assesses,,ent and said Board now having acquired jurisdiction in said matter.
<br />Be it therefore resolved, by the Board of Crustees of the Tovrn of Redwood City that t!le
<br />said assesor.ent for the work done by said T.I;I.G llagher,under Resolution of Intention !lo.
<br />F-9,be,and the sai.,e is hereby confirmed.
