'3RU <br />I <br />Redwood City,March 16th.1925,7-30 o'cbek P.M- <br />Regulat meeting of the Board of Trustees held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President H.A.Beeger,C.K.IMabie,A.E.Monteith, <br />R,-0W.McNulty,M.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A.Price. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trgetee Monteith and carried,minutes of /YY0 <br />March 2nd.and 9th.1925 be approved as read. <br />The protest of Mr.and Mrs.Henry Jensintgainst the construction of the dwelling at the <br />corner of Hopkins Avenue and Duane Street was on motion of Trustee Monteith,secorff ad by <br />Trustee Ryan, that further work on said buildings be stopped until such time the matter <br />be adjusted.Motion Carried. <br />A petition from property owners for the improvement of King Street,between Roosevelt <br />and Dak Avenues was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, <br />same be referred to the City Engineer. <br />Application of Mr.Eder to have lots 4 -5 -Block 9 Hancock Addition removed from the <br />fire district was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seeonded by Trustee Monteith and carried, <br />said application be denied. <br />Communication from Pratt -low Company regarding the po.,r condit.on of Heller Street <br />adjacent to the plant,was on motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Ryan, the <br />Clerk be instructed to write Pratt -low Co,as it was through their heavy hauling that has <br />destroyed the street, therefore they should put said street in good condition themselves. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried,S.H.Frank Company be <br />granted permission to lay water pipe on Steinberger Street,same to be under the Super- <br />vision of the Supt,of dater. <br />Moved. by Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, a warrant be drawn in <br />favor of the Redwood Highlands Company,in the amount of $ 253.43,refund on Street Assmt. <br />District # 13-14-, <br />The following petition was received;- <br />. <br />Redwood: City,biarch 16th.1925- <br />Board of Trustees, <br />Town of Redwood City, <br />Dear Sirs; - <br />We the undersigned hereby request that Howland Street between Arguello Street and <br />the Tacoma Mill's line be left unpaved. <br />Reasons- <br />(I) <br />easons- <br />(I) No one living on said Street. <br />(2) Useage does hot afford said expenditure. <br />(3) Property bounding said street is owned by practically five individulas. <br />(4) At present property will not afford additional improvements. <br />Homer E -Martine--- 300 feet frontage <br />C.littlejohn------ 300 11 1' <br />Mrs.R.R.Stewartson 170 11 <br />J.
