<br />Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees, Z.T. Thorning, D.R. Stafford,
<br />G. VT. McNulty.
<br />Absent, Trustees H. A. Beeger, F.M. Dearborn, City Clerk W. A. Price.
<br />On motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee Stafford, Trustee Me Nulty
<br />be appointed Chairman, protem. Motion carried.
<br />In absent of City Clerk Price, who was attending the League of California
<br />Municipalities Convention, Chairman McNulty protem, appointed Trustee Stafford
<br />to act as Clerk.
<br />On motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee Stafford, minutes of
<br />meetings held August 2nd, 9th, and 13th 1926 be dispensed with until next regular
<br />Meeting. Motion carried.
<br />Application of the.Catholic Italian Federation Club for a dance in the I.O.O.F.
<br />Hall Saturday evening August 28th, 1926 until 1 o'clock, was on motion of Trustee
<br />Thorning, seconded by Trustee Stafford, same be granted. Motion carried.
<br />Communication from Mrs. Margaret Keek stating she had no protest against Oak-
<br />dale extension impncvement, but objected to paying for any side walks, was on motion
<br />of Trustee-Thorning, seconded by Trustee Stafford, same be received and filed and
<br />the Clerk instructed to notify Mrs Meek, she would have no side walks to pay for.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of Sam H. Wirklebleck in the matter of Publishing, affidavit of
<br />W. A. Price, City Clerk in the matter of posting nearCo"uncil Chamber door and also
<br />affidavit of 1Y.A. Price, City Clerk in the matter of mailing notice of Mailing
<br />Notice of filing Street Assessment, etc for during work and impnavements done
<br />under Resolution of Intention No. I-1 was on motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded
<br />by Trustee Stafford same be received and filed. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Thorning offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption.
<br />Trustee Stafford seconds the motion. Motion carried.
<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING STREET ASSESSMENT.
<br />WHEREAS, the assessment for street work done under that certain contract
<br />dated the 16th day of April, 1926, between Hanrahan Company, a corporation, first
<br />party, and C. L. Dimmitt, as Superintendent of Streets of the Town of Redwood City,
<br />as second party, for the doing of all street work mentioned and described in.
<br />Resolution of Intention No. I-1, passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the
<br />Town of Redwood City on the 4th day of January, 1926, and now on file in the office
<br />of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City, to which Resolution of Intention Deference
<br />is hereby made for a description of said work, was filed in the office of said Clerk
<br />of the Town of Redwood City on the 30th day of July, 1926; and
<br />I.' WHEREAS, said Clerk of the Town of Redwood City did thereupon fix
<br />�■� Monday the 16th day of August, 1926, at the hour of 8 o'clock P. 11. of said day,
<br />�( at the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the Towa of Redwood City in
<br />the Town Hall on Webster street in said Town as the time and place of hearing on
<br />said assessment as required by law and as the time and place of making written
<br />objections thereto as provided for by the "jfptmvement Act of 1911"; and
<br />WHEREAS, notice of the filing of said assessment and of hearing thereon
<br />were duly given by posting, mailing and publishing as required by law, as appears
<br />from the affidavits thereof now on file in the office of the Clerk of s -,-id Town
<br />of Redwood City; and
