Trustee Thorning'offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Frustee Dearborn seconds the motion. Motion carried. RESOLUTION DECLARING NUISANCE N0. I-77. RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, that whereas, cert- ain weeds are growing in the Town of Redwood City,upon the streets and in front of the property hereinafter mentioned, which weeds are of a,kind which bear seeds of a wingy and downy nature and will attain such large groth as to become a fire menace when dry; :.. WHEREAS, the said weeds constitite a public nuisances NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that the said weeds do now constitue and will continue to constitute a public nuisance, and it is ordered that the said.publie be abated fin the manner provided by that certain act of the legislature, entitled, "An Act Authorizing Municipalities to declare noxiouscor dangerous weeds growkAgpupon the streets or sidewalks or upon private property within Idunicipalities, to be a public nuisance,creating a lien upon the property fronting upon such streets or sidewalks or upon which such nuisance exists for the cost of abating same[", approved May 26th,1915. That Monday the 7th day of June, 1926, at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M. of said day at the meeting place of said Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, in the Town Hall on Webster Street in said Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and blase when objections to the proposed removal of such weeds will be heard and given due consideration, and that said notices shall be posted as aforesaid at least five days prior to the time of hearing objections fixed by said Board of Trustees.
