11. <br />L <br />Trustee Dearborn offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee <br />McNulty seconds the motion, motion carried. <br />RE30LUTION <br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Tovm of Redwood City that whereas a <br />certain deed from Harry Johnson and Hazel Johnson, his wife, to the Town of Redwood <br />City, and which deed purports to dedicate for -oublie use as a public road and high- <br />way to be known as Alameda de las Pu.l,gas a certain piece or parcel of land lying <br />between the south;resterly line of Alameda de las Pulgas, as formerly laid out, and <br />the northeasterly line of Carmelita Manor as the same is shown on the map thereof <br />recorded in 11ap Book 15 at pages 53 and 54 in the Office of the Recorder of the County <br />of San Mateo, State of California, which piece or parcel of lane, is more particularly <br />shown in the said deed, now is ;;resented to this Board of Trustees, -- <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the said deed is hereby accepted b. -)r this Board of Trustees upon <br />behalf of the public and of the said Town of Redwood City, and it is further ordered <br />that the same shall be recorded in the Office of the Co-anty Recorder of said County <br />of San Mateo. <br />The clerk of said Town is hereby directed to certify to a copy of this resolution <br />and thereu on to attach the same to said deed and deliver the same to the County <br />Recorder of said county for recordation. <br />---000--- <br />I certify that the foregoing; resolution was passed and adopted at a regular <br />meeting of the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City duly held on the 12th <br />day of August 1927, by the following vote: <br />Ayes, and in favor thereof, <br />I/ <br />291 <br />Trustees Z. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that whereas <br />heretofore a certain map of Carmelita Manor was recorded in the office of the.County <br />Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California, in Book 15 of Maps at pages <br />53 and 54 and whereas upon said map certain streets and avenues are shown as public <br />streets and avenues and a certain easement ten (10) feet in width is shown through <br />said lots, which easement was thereby offered to the public for sewer and ,)ublic <br />utility pur)oses and which streets are Hilltop Drive, Eaton Avenue, Alameda de las <br />Pulgas and Oak Avenue; and whereas some question has arisen as to the sufficiency of <br />the acceptance of the dedication; and whereas all said streets and avenues are and <br />have been in use as public streets and avenues; <br />Now it is hereby declared that the said streets and avenues are and each of thera <br />is a public street and avenue and the offer of dedication of same heretofore made <br />shall be and is hereby accepted upon behalf of the public and that by the aforesaid <br />names, to -wit, Hilltop Drive, Eaton Avenue, Alameda de las PulLas and Oak Avenue, the <br />same shall be hereafter knovrn. And it is resolved further that the said easement for <br />Newer and public utility purposes is also hereby declared to have been and to be ac- <br />cepted upon behalf of the public of public use for such purposes. <br />----000---- <br />
