IN THE HATTER OF ACQUISITION AND IItPRO E1>ILNT DISTRICT NO. 9, G f OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATZO. ir - f x` i RESOLUTION GRANTING CONSENT OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TO FIT OF REDS,jOOD CITY. f i I VIHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, f ! did on the 8th dar of August, 1327, approve specifications for certain acquisitions j and improvements of Alameda de las Pulgas and of the improvement of such of the other streets and avenues which intersect with said Alameda de las Pulgas and are situated within the gown of Redwood City; and t'dHEREAS, the said Board of Supervisors did on said 8th day of August, 1927, not only approve said specifications, but also requested the consent of this council to the acquisition and improvement of those portions of such streets proposed to be acquired and improved which lie within said Toiwi of Redwood City and also 'co the r inclusion in the proposed assessment district of that portion of said assessment district lying within said Town of Redwood Cit;,; and 7JHEREA3, this day a certified copy of said specifications so approved by said f Board of Supervisors and a certified copy of the resolution of said Board of Super- visors and a certified copy of the resolution of said Board of Supertrisors so'approvine, such.7.8pe6ifications and requesting; such consent of this council have been presented to this council, it being the legislative body of said Town of Redwood City, and have been filed with this council; and 'IHEREAS, the said acquisitions and improvements include, among; other things, the widening, extending and opening of that certain_ public road and highway within said County of San Mateo designated "Alameda de las Pulgas", so that the said public road and highway should extend from the southerly line of that certain road in said County of San Mateo running from Belmont to the Crystal Springs Lakes of the Spring Valley Water Company, and sometimes and herein reforred to as Belmont and Crystal �J Springs Road, to that certain road in said county leading from the Ton of Redwood City to Woodside, and sometimes known as the Woodside Road; and that for such purpose various and sundry 1,arcels of land be acquired; and that as so opened, widened and extended, the said Alameda de las Pulgas be improved as follows: (a) By the 6;radinF; and preparation of the subgrade for paving the roadway thereof and for the structures to be l,laced therein as hereinafter mentioned; (b) By the constriction therein of cement concrete gutters; (c) By the construction therein of cement concrete curbs and gutters; (d) By the consi,ruction therein of tao incls b,, six inch redwood heather boarLs;
