I I I L C1 I 295 Portions of Alameda de las Pulgas to be improved as aforesaid were formerly known as Brittan :avenue, Cypress, Ashley Avonue, Foothill Boulevard, :'1h.ipple Avenue, Nest Union Roand and Canyon Road. AND '.1HEREAS, all of such work shall be of the character, dimensions and forms and be of the material and be constructed in the particular locations and at the grades as shown on the plans attached to said specifications; and t"THiERI;A5, this council has examined said specifications and is familiar with the things proposed to be done thereunder, -- NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of ReLwood City as follows: (a) That the public interest and necessity require the acquisitions and improve- ments described and referred to in and proposed to be done and accomplished by the said specifications, reference being hereby made thereto for a further description thereof, all to the extent and in the manner set forth in said specifications there - :Cor prepared by R. A. Klassen, and approved by said Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo on August 8, 1927, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Board of Supervisors, and a certified copy of which is also on file in the of- fice of the clerk of this council; (b) That the consent of this council is hereby given to the acquisition and i-provement of that portion of said Alameda de las Pulgas lying within said Town of Redwood City in the manner set forth in said specifications, which said portion of said Alameda de las Pulgas is described as follows, to -wit: That portion thereof beginning at the northwesterly limits of said Town of Redwood City and leading thence through a portion of said Town of Redwood City to the southwesterly limits of said town; And the consent of this Council is further given to the improvement of the following street and avenue which intersects with said Alameda de las Pulgas, and lies wijhin said Town of Redwood City, viz.: (1) Whipple Avenue from the northeasterly line of Alameda de las Pulgas to a line parallel thereto and distant at right angles northeasterly therefrom fifteen feet, in the manner set forth in said specifications and as proposed to be improved thereunder. And the consent of this council is further given to the improvement of the fol- lowing streets and avenues which intersect Frith said Alameda de las Pulgas a-d,lia within siad Town of Redwood City, viz.: (1) Oak Knoll Drive between the center line of that portion of Alameda de las Pulgas which was formerly known as Foothill Boulevard and a line concentric thereto and distant on a radial line 55 feet westerly therefrom; also said Alameda de las Pulgas and a line drawn concentric thereto and distant on a radial line of 55 wes- terly therefrom; also said O,ik Knoll Drive between said center line of said portion a, of said Alameda as las Pulgas and a line drawn concentric thereto and distant on a radial line 75 feet easterly therefrom, such portion of said Oak Knoll Drive last mentioned to include both that .jortion thereof whidh lies southerly of the park there• in and that portion thereof which lies northerly of the park therein. (2) That certain street in Oak Knoll Manor shown as Westgate on the map thereof, from the we3terly line of that portion of Alameda de las Pulgas which was formerly Inio-im as Foothill Boulevard to a line concentric to the center line of said portion of Alam::da de las Pulgas and distant on a radial line 35 feet westerly therefrom. (3) Brewster Avenue from the northeasterly line of Foothill Boulevard, extended northwesterly across Brewster Avenue, to a line parallel to the southerly line of that portion of Alameda de las Pulgas which was formerly knovm as Canyon Road, ex -
