<br />Regular meeting of the City Council of -the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll ry ca �h.ere were present Councilmen Mayor H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.

<br />On motion of Qoun6ilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Thorning minutes of meeting
<br />held Oct 17th, 1927, be approved as read. Motion carried.
<br />Application of TrLr J.W.I;iunday in regards to the construction of building on Broadway
<br />was on motion of Councilman Dearborn seconded by Councilman Stafford the plans and spec-
<br />ifications be referred to the Building Inspector. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman Stafford, the appliva.tion of
<br />Lambert & Walter, for the placeng of a sign Board next to their office on the Highway,
<br />Wellesley Park be denied. Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Councilman Stafford, seconded by Coundilman Thorning the communication frost
<br />the Fire Department in regards to fire hydrants and grass fires same be received and
<br />filed and the Board proceed with the cleaning of lots of high grass according to the
<br />State law. Motion carried:
<br />On motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman 1IcNulty the purchasing Agert
<br />be authorized to purchase 6 life belts for the fire department toe cost to be $30.00.

<br />The report of C.L.Dimmitt of the proposed opening of 'a street from Broadway to Webster
<br />Street and thru the block bounded by Main Street and Washington St, was on motion of Coun-
<br />cilman Thorninge seconded by Councilman McNulty same be received and fi]ecl*llotion carried.
<br />Moved by Councilman. Dearborn, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the property owners
<br />facing on the proposed street from Broaaway, -o Webster St; be notified by.the Clerk,
<br />to meet with the City Cotneil November 15th, 1927,, at 7.30 o'clock. P.M. Motion carried.
<br />Application of Al Markgraphs Orchqstra.for a permit to hold a dance in Foresters Hall
<br />Wednesday evenings Nov 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 30th, 1927, was on motion of Councilman Thorn-
<br />ing, seconded by Councilman IdcNulty said permits be granted. T.Iotion carried.
<br />Application o: John T. Carl ashinG for +he co-�erinc; of i_Za ^..ee on the new Street
<br />sweeper the Council contemplating buying, was on motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded
<br />by Councilman} McNulty same be received and filed: Motion carried.•
<br />Communication from AW H.A.Masonholder of improvement bond No.114, series 43, claiming
<br />said bond and interest was collected by the late Treasurer F.K.Town, was on motion of
<br />Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman AlcNulty be received and filed, and TIr Mason
<br />be notified that the City would take care of the matter. Motion carried.

<br />On/report of the Planning Commissioners the Council granted 1 -Ir A.C..Dinwoodie of the
<br />Auto Ignition Co, permission to construction a battery station on lots 8 and 9 Diller
<br />Addition on Jefferson Ave, was onsmotion of Councilman Staff ord,seconde& by Councilman
<br />McNulty said permit be granted. Motion carried.
<br />A communication from the Chamber of Commerce in regards to additional equipment
<br />and a new Fire house be constructed. on the west side of the Highway, was on motion of
<br />Councilman ToNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn , same be received and filed,
<br />Motion carried.
<br />-A communication from the Pacific Gas & Elrctric Co in regards to gas mains in streets
<br />west of Gordon Ave, was on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn.
<br />Same be received and filed. Motion carried. '
<br />Moved. by Councilman Dearborn seconded by Councilman McNulty the Clerk be instructe�.
<br />th advertise for sealed bids for 4 transformers according to the spectifications prepared
<br />by the City Electrician . Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Qouncilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Thorning the map of the
<br />Hess tract on woodside Road So Redwood be approved by t_ie Board. Motion carried.
