On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman McNulty the discussion in regards to the City Council meeting in the Auditorium of the Ventral fire House be laid over futher discussion. Motion carried. Moved by Councilman Stafford seconded by Councilman McNulty, the City Council donate the sum of 050.00 to the local Red Cross. Motion carried. On motion of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Trustee Mcnulty the City Engineer be instructed to make a preliminary report on a pedestrian subway across the Highway at the James Street crossing. Motion carried. s On motion of Councilman McNulty seconded by Councilman Stafford the Clerk be instruc- ted to write former police officer Ed McAuliffe a letter of appreciation for the splen- did service rendered by him doing his service as police officer. Motion carried. Councilman Dearborn offers the following Resolution and moves adoption, Councilman McNulty seconds the motion. Motion carried. RESOLUTION APPROVING DIAGRAM OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. J-7 AND DESIGNATING NEWSPAPER. RESOLVED by -the Council of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, that the diagram of the assessment district under Resolution of Intention No. J-7, passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City on the 16th day of May, 1927, as said diagram has been prepared by C.L.Dimmi$t Street Super -in tendent of said Town of Redwood City, and submitted this 7th day of November, 1927, be and the same is hereby adopted as the diagram of the assessment district for the work described in said Resolution of Intention No. J-7, which Resolution of Intention No. J-7 is now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City and to which reference is hereby made for a description of the work herein referred to.
