<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING STREET ASSESSMENT NO.. J-6
<br />WHEREAS, the assessment for street work done under that certain contract
<br />dated the 22nd day of July, 1927, between the Peninsula Paving Company, a corporation,
<br />first party, and C. L. Dimnitt, as Superintendent -of Streets of the Town of Redwood .
<br />City, second party, for the doing of all street work mentioned and described in Resolu-
<br />tion of Intention No. J-6, passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of said Town of
<br />Redwood City on the 16th day of May, 1927, and now on file in the office of the Clerk
<br />of said Toim , to which Resolution of Intention reference is hereby made for a deserip-`
<br />tion of said work; was .filed in the office of the Clerk of said .Town of Redwood City
<br />on the 14th day of November, 1927; and
<br />WHEREAS, said Town Clerk did thereupon fix Monday, the 5th day of Deeembeil'
<br />1927, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of said day, at the meeting place of the Coubmil
<br />of the Torn of Redwood Pity, in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall on Webster Street
<br />in said Town, as the time and place of hearing on said assessment, as required byelaw;
<br />and as the time and place for making written objections thereto, as provided for iii the
<br />Improvement Act of 1911; and
<br />WHEREAS,•notice of the filing of said assessment and of the time fY xed for
<br />hearing thereon was duly given by posting, publishing and.amailing, as required by law,
<br />as appears from the affidavits of W. A. Price and Sam H. Winklebleek, now on file in
<br />the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, at the time and place last herein mentioned no objections of any
<br />E. kind were made against said assessment and diagram; and whereas, said Council of the
<br />Town of Redwood City has now acquired jurisdiction thereon:
<br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Redwood City, County
<br />of San Mateo, State of California, that the assessment above mentioned for,s.treet work
<br />done under Resolution of Intention No. J-6 hereinbefore referred to herein, together
<br />with the diagram attached thereto, be and the same are hereby approved and adopted, and
<br />the Superintendent of Streets of said Town of Redwood City is hereby directed to attach
<br />a warrant thereto and deliver same to the contractor, as required by law.
<br />Passed andadopted by the Council of the Town of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting thereof held on the 5th day of December, 1927, be the following vote:
