Councilman Thorning offers the following resolution and moves its adoption. <br />Councilman Dearborn seconds the motion. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. J-15 <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Redwood City, did, on the 7th day of <br />November, 1927, pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No. J-15, which is now on life <br />in the office of the Clerk of said Town, and to which reference is hereby made for a <br />description of the -work and improvements described in said Resolution -of Intention No. <br />r <br />J-15; �-• <br />AND WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention No. J-15 was duly and legally pub- <br />ltehed as required by law as appears from the affidavit of Sam H. Winklebleok, now on <br />file in the office of the Clerk of said'Town of Redwood City; <br />AND WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. J-15 <br />N <br />were duly and legally posted along the line of saim contemplated work and improvements <br />and in front of all property liable to be assessed therefor in time, form, manner end <br />number as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of C. L. Dimmitt, Street Super- <br />intendent, now on file in the office of the Clerk of said 'Town; <br />AND WHEREAS; at the time fixed in said Resolution of Intention No. J-15 and <br />337 <br />in' --the notices -of the passage thereof so posted as aforesaid when and where any and all <br />persons having any objections to the work and improvements described therein, to -wit: <br />the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. M. of Monday the 5th day of December, 1927, certain owners <br />of property to be assessed for said work and improvements appeared before the Council <br />and made oral objections to- said work and improvements; <br />AND WHEREAS, said Council did proceed to hear and consider said protests and. <br />3� <br />objections, and after having fully considered the same,: <br />F, <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Redwood City and said <br />Council does hereby determine and declare said oral protests against the work and improv) - <br />i <br />ments'deseribed in said Resolution of Intention'No. J-15 were and are not made by the { <br />• <br />owners' of the majority of the property fronting on the proposed work and improvements; <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Redwood City that <br />said protests and objections hereinbefore mentioned be and the same are hereby overruled, <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the Town of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 5th day of December, 1927, by the f ollowLng vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen, <br />Z.
