Redwood City.January 25, 19289 7.50 P:M: <br />Regular adjourned meeting of the City Council held. <br />;Roll call there were present Councilmen Mayor H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.3tafford, <br />G.W•Movulty, E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Prioe. <br />.Moved by Councilman McNulty, seoonded by Councilman Dearborn, minutes of the previous <br />meeting be dispensed with until next regular meeting. Motion carried.. <br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seoonded by Councilman McNulty the trees on the <br />no3th east side of the Highway from the Five Points to Beeger's Tannery be removed. <br />Motion carried. <br />Moved,by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McNulty Councilman Stafford be <br />authorized to purchase two (2•) lots on Myrtle Street, and Jefferson Avefor the new Fire <br />site. Motion oarried. <br />On motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the City Purchasing <br />Agent be authorized to purchase a ohrysler round about #72 for the Police Dept the cost <br />price to be $1495.00. Motion carried, ; <br />Councilman McNulty offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Counoilmax <br />Thorning seconds the motion. Motion oarried. <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT TWO PRINTED COPIES OF ALL ORDINANCE <br />SHALL BE SENT TO THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITIES. <br />RESOLVED,'by the city council of the city of Redwood City that the publisher <br />of the official newspaper of said city be and is hereby requested to mail two copies of <br />all ordinances hereafter published in said newspaper to the League of California Manic" <br />ipalities .Chancery Building, San Francisco. <br />RESOLVED that the city olerk be and is hereby instraoted to send a.00py of this <br />resolution to said publisher. <br />Application of T.B.Hunnell of Menlo Park for an Electricians license was on motion <br />of Councilman McNulty, seoonded by Counoilman Dearborn said license be granted, <br />Motion carried, <br />On motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dearborn the action of the <br />given <br />in the matter of Mr Monday building permit be reoinder, and Mr J.W.Munday be/a building <br />permit for a building on his property on Broadway. Motion oarried. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dearborn that we do now ad- <br />journ. Motion carried. <br />r <br />W. A.
