Redwood City.January 25, 19289 7.50 P:M: Regular adjourned meeting of the City Council held. ;Roll call there were present Councilmen Mayor H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.3tafford, G.W•Movulty, E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Prioe. .Moved by Councilman McNulty, seoonded by Councilman Dearborn, minutes of the previous meeting be dispensed with until next regular meeting. Motion carried.. On motion of Councilman Stafford, seoonded by Councilman McNulty the trees on the no3th east side of the Highway from the Five Points to Beeger's Tannery be removed. Motion carried. Moved,by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McNulty Councilman Stafford be authorized to purchase two (2•) lots on Myrtle Street, and Jefferson Avefor the new Fire site. Motion oarried. On motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the City Purchasing Agent be authorized to purchase a ohrysler round about #72 for the Police Dept the cost price to be $1495.00. Motion carried, ; Councilman McNulty offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Counoilmax Thorning seconds the motion. Motion oarried. RESOLUTION RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT TWO PRINTED COPIES OF ALL ORDINANCE SHALL BE SENT TO THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITIES. RESOLVED,'by the city council of the city of Redwood City that the publisher of the official newspaper of said city be and is hereby requested to mail two copies of all ordinances hereafter published in said newspaper to the League of California Manic" ipalities .Chancery Building, San Francisco. RESOLVED that the city olerk be and is hereby instraoted to send a.00py of this resolution to said publisher. Application of T.B.Hunnell of Menlo Park for an Electricians license was on motion of Councilman McNulty, seoonded by Counoilman Dearborn said license be granted, Motion carried, On motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dearborn the action of the given in the matter of Mr Monday building permit be reoinder, and Mr J.W.Munday be/a building permit for a building on his property on Broadway.
