Redwood City August 13, 1928, 10 o'clock A.M. <br />Regular adjourned meeting of the City Council held, <br />-Upon roll call there were present Councilmen Mayor H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D. Hedge in the matter of Publishing notice calling for sealed pro- <br />posals for the sale and removal of the Wahl and Thiel Building oh Main Street (numbers <br />157, 159, 161, 163, and 165, Main St) was on motion of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by <br />Councilman Stafford said affidavit be received and filed, Motion carried. <br />r•There being only one bid received from Charles E. Archibald in the amount of $400.00 <br />-for the purchase and removal of said buildings, was on motion of Councilman McNulty, <br />seconded by Councilman Stafford the contract be awarded to Charles E. Archibald in the <br />�j <br />l�t amount of his bid $400.00, Motion carried, <br />Y� d <br />A petition from Anna Kavanaugh and E.C.Kavanaugh for permission to change the n2?o%< <br />course of the creek €l tlnt:through Lots 6 Blk A. Motion carried. <br />.1 <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Co for a permit to set poles an Arlingtol, <br />j Road and Melrose Place, was on motion of Councilman Stafford seconded by Councilman Thor- <br />ning said permit be granted.
