<br />That for said proposition (a), being to incur a bonded indebtedness of 4?55.000.00
<br />gold coin of the United States of America for the object and purpose of paying the cost of
<br />the acquisition,completion and purchase, for the use of said Town of Redwood City for the
<br />construction of wharves, were houses and spur tracks in connection therewith, of the following
<br />described real property situated in the County of San Mateo, State of California, To -wit: .
<br />Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 10, as shown on that certain map enti-
<br />tled "Map of Certain Lands Belonging to Redwood City Harbor Company", filed September, 23,
<br />19219 in Book 10 of Maps at edges 45 and 46 in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo
<br />County, State of California; thence from said point of beginning along the southwesterly line
<br />of said Lot 10 S. 67° 59" W. 134.5 feet, S. 830 211 W. 100.0 feet, N. 690 25' W. 14.0.0 feet, j

<br />10 N. 190 581 E. 147.0 feet N. 21° 201 E. 1250.0 feet; thence leaving said northwesterly line
<br />and across said Lot 10 S. 660 401 E. 385.10 feet; thence along the are of a curve tangent to
<br />said preceding course, being a ten (10) degree curve to the right for a distance of 811.00
<br />feet and a central angle of 81° 061, to a point in the center line of a right of way 80 feet
<br />wide, and said curve being tangent to said center line of right of way; thence along said
<br />center line of said right of way S. 14P 261 W. 771.92 feet to the point of beginning; con-
<br />taining 31.03 acres and being the southerly portion of Lot 10 of the Lands belonging to Red-
<br />wood City Harbor Company hereinbefore mentidbd; the number of ballots marked "YES" and in
<br />favor of said proposition (a) was and is 1106, and that the number of ballots marked "NQ"
<br />and against said proposition (a) was and is 465. On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded
<br />by Councilman Thorning, said proposition (a) was declared carried. 11

<br />That for said proposition (b) shall the charter proposed by the board of fifteen free-
<br />holders elected by the voters of the Town of Redwood City on the 15th day of November, 1928.
<br />and which said proposed charter was filed in the office of the Town Clerk of said Town of
<br />Redwood City on the 7th day of February, 1929, be approved by the voters of said Town, the
<br />number of ballots marked "YES" and in favor of the adoption of said proposed charter was and P
<br />is 1402, and that the nimber of ballots marked "NO" and against the adoption of said proposed
<br />charter was and is 168. Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Thorning, thaja it
<br />is hereby found, determined and declared that a majority of the electors voting at said special
<br />election had voted for and ratified said proposed charter (proposition b) and said charter is
<br />hereby declared approved and adopted. Motion carried by the following vote:
