Councilman McNulty offers Ordinance No. 296, (An ordinance calling a special election in the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, for the purpose ,of submitting and submitting to the qualified votes of said Town of Redwood City the proposition to incur a bonded indebtedmess to pay the cost of certain municipal improvememts in and for said Town the cost of which will, be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said Town, Ahd contoclilaihing said special municipal election to be held in said flown of Redwood City on the 11th day of June, 1929, as required and provided by the charter of said Town, )and moves its adoption, Coundilman Thorning seconds the motion. Communication from the Redwood City Promotion Assn asking the Council to use the 6000.00 balance in the Jefferso Ave Fire House Fund in purchasing a fire ladder truck,was on motion of Councilman DearUr4 seconded by Councilman McNulty same be received and filed. An invitation from the San Leandro Cherry Carvinal Committee to attend their annual cherry festival, June 3th, to June 8th, 1929, was on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn same be referred to the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce, Motion ca- rried. P,Zoved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn the City Engineer be instructed to construct a concrete gutter on Stambaugh St from Walnut to Main Street, the City to pay one half and Mr R. Holmquist the owner of the and in front of his property is to pay the other half.
