107 <br />conjunction with the County Engineer George Kneese, liotion carried. <br />On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Thorning, the minutes <br />of IY 16th of 1928, on request of the chairman and other members of the council, the <br />minutes of that date, be changed that the Menlo Country Club be charged The 'Spring <br />Valley Water Company rate of twenty eight cents (a�.28) a following communication to wit: <br />The Italo Petroleum Corporation of America, having consummated a deal for the <br />sale of their Service Stations to the Texas Company, are desirol'is of having all permits <br />for the operation of Service Stations transferred to the said Company. <br />. F <br />Our Station in ;;our Iiunicipality is located at E1 Camino Real and Woodside Road. <br />E Will you please advise what steps are necessary to effect t.2is transfer. Liotion <br />carried. <br />Application of the Reinhardt Jewelry Co to put up a wooden sign in front of <br />2023 Broadway, was on motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Thorning said <br />. application be deneid, also said Company be notified to remove the electric sign at their <br />i <br />ed, present place of business 2235 Broadway as it is not put up according sign ordinance. <br />r <br />Motion carried. <br />t Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Thorning, warrants be drawn <br />on the respectful funds for the payment of Claims passed on and°O.Sed by the Finance Com- <br />thy <br />3 <br />tle <br />mittee.
