<br />of Broadway and that it is unnecessary to levy any assessment to provide for the closing
<br />of said portion of Broadway.
<br />All the herein proposed work shall be done in pursuance of and in conformity with an
<br />act of the Legislature of the State of California entitled "An Act to Provide for the Laying
<br />out, Opening, Extending, Widening, Lengthening or Closing up, in Whole or in Part, any
<br />Street, Square, Lane, Alley, Court or Place Within Municipalities, and to Condemn and Ac-
<br />quire any and all Lands and'Property Necessary and Convenient for that Purpose", approved
<br />March 6, 1889, and the sever&l acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto.
<br />The Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City is hereby ordered and directed
<br />to post notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention in time, fors., manner and
<br />number as required by law, and he is also directed to cause, to be published in the Redwood
<br />City Tribune, a da ly newspaper published, printed and circulated in said City of Redwood
<br />City, and hereby designated for that purpose by the Council of said City, a notice of the
<br />passage of said Resolution of Intention No. L-6 similar in su0stance to the notices ordered
<br />posted as aforesaid, and for the period required by law.
<br />And notice is hereby gi en that all persons interested and objecting to paid work may
<br />make written objections thereto in time, form and manner a.; provided by the hereinbefore
<br />mentioned act of the Legislature of the State of California under which this work is carried
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting
<br />thereof held on the 18th day of November, 1929, by the following vote:
