The City Attorney reported that eight assessments for widening of Iulinnie and George Streets were not paid in cash but that the owners elected to pay said assessments which aggregated 41219.32 in ten equal yearly payments and he recommen,ed that the City carry these assessments and collect the interest thereon instead of selling bonds therefore. On motion of Councilman Ie4cNulty, seconded by Councilman McCarthy and carried the Treas- uer be authorized to draw a warrant in savor of Commissionabof &iinnie and George Streets widening in sum of 9y1219.32, money to be advanced by the City and covered by agreements of the owners to pay in 10 yearly installments with interest thereon at 8 'per cent per annum. Moved by Councilman Hildebrand, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, and carried the City Attorney be authorised to notify the Atna Insurance Company that the liability under the 7 25.000.00 bond of City ."reasuer and N5000.00 bond of City Collector ceased on September 17, 1929, upon the taking effect of the new yP75,000 Treasuer's bond and new ?25,000 City ' Collector.':s bond. On Motion of Councilman 2h6Tning, seconded by Councilman Dusel the meeting be adjourned. i otion carried. A Protest was presented to the Council from the Service Garage by C. L. White and the Five Points Wrecking by G..W. Cedes, protesting to grant a business license to 0. W Buckley and Wm.
