� MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br />159 <br />## REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL HELD <br />II JANUPRY 20, 1930 <br />7: 30 0 1 CLOCK P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the City Council held. <br />Upon roll cal], there were present: Councilman - Mayor H. A. Beeger, Z. T. Thorning, <br />' D. R. Stafford, W. J. Dusel, G. W. McNulty, C. J. Hildebrant, P. A. McCarthy, <br />".,. City Clerk W. A. Price. <br />• <br />On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, the <br />minutes of meeting held January 6, 1930 be approved as corrected. Motion <br />' carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dusel, the Towne Motor <br />Company be granted a permit to conduct a garage at the corner of Theatre <br />and Webster Streets. Motion carried. <br />0 <br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Thorning, the report <br />of the City Manager for the last six (6) months of the City finances be <br />received and filed. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman McCarthy seconded by Councilman Dusel, the report of the <br />City Engineer on the number of new concrete bridges required, also storm <br />sewers, and street extensions be received and filed. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the First <br />National Bank and the Bank of Italy of this City be made depositories <br />of the City's funds for the year 1930. Motion carried. <br />Application•of E. Van Dusen for a junk peddlers license was on motion of <br />Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McNulty, same be referred to <br />the City Manager to look up his referrences, and report back at the next <br />meeting. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, the City <br />Engineer be instructed to prepare plans and specifications!,for the <br />construction of storm sewers, concrete bridges, and the extension of <br />certain streets in accordance with his suggestions. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dusel, the claims <br />' passed on and O'Ked by the Finance+Committee be allowed and warrants <br />be drawn on the respective funds for payment of same. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that we do <br />' now adjourn. Motion carried. <br />W. A.
