164 <br />Moved by Councilman Hildebrant,- seconded by Councilman McCarthy the City <br />Engineer be instructed to prepare plans and specifications for the <br />repairing of Birth Street between Broadway and Hopkins Avenues,, same <br />to be done under private contract and paid for by the property owners <br />without formal improvement proceedings being entered into. Motion <br />carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the City <br />Engineer be instructed to prepare plans and specifications for the <br />improving of Chestnut Street from Heller Street to Stambaugh Street. <br />Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, that <br />the application and resolution from the Peninsula Rapid Transit <br />Company and The Pacific Auto Stages, Inc., to re-route a portion of <br />their service over the Bayshore Highway, be accepted by the Council. <br />Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, that the <br />claims passed on and O'Ked by the Finance Committee be allowed and <br />warrants drawn on the respective funds for payment of same. Motion <br />carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Hildebrant, seconded by Councilman McNulty that we <br />do now adjourn.
