I <br />0 <br />U <br />objections to the removal of such weeds will be heard <br />and given due consideration, and that said notices <br />shall be posted at least five days prior to the time <br />of the hearing of objections as fixed by said Council. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City <br />of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on <br />the 17th day of March, 1930, by the following vote: <br />AYES and in favor of the passage of the foregoing <br />Resolution, Councilmen: Z.T.Thorning, D.R.Stafford, <br />W.J.Dusel, C.J.Hildebrant, P.A.McCarthy, H.A.Beeger. <br />NOES and against the passage of the foregoing <br />Resolution, Councilmen: NONE. <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: G. W. McNulty. <br />H. A. Beeger <br />Mayor of the City of ttedwood City. <br />Attest: <br />W. A. Price <br />Clerk of the City of Redwood city. <br />I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution this <br />17th day of March, 1930. <br />H. A. Beeger <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood Uity. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dusel the letter from the <br />Redwood City Improvement club endorsing the Bond Issue be received and filed <br />and that a letter of thanks be sent the club. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Dusel that the letter of <br />the South Redwood Improvement Club endorsing the Bond Issue be received and <br />filed and that a letter of thanks be sent the club. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant that the <br />Pacific Gas & Electric Company be allowed a refund of the fee for building <br />permit in amount 50� which permit was never used. Motion carried: <br />Moved by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Thorning that the <br />application of Jacob Schriebman for junk peddler's license be denied. <br />Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, the communication <br />from the Lion's Club regarding the Fourth of July celebration be received <br />and filed. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dusel the application <br />r of Edward Lopes for electrical contractors permit be granted. Motion carried. <br />C. L. Dimmitt, Superintendent of Streets presented,affidavit of posting notice <br />of public works under Resolution of Intention No.L-60 and upon motion of <br />Councilman Hildebrant, seconded by Councilman Dusel and duly carried, it was <br />ordered filed. <br />Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Dusel offers the following resolution <br />and moves its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION CLOSING AND VACATING A PORTION OF <br />BROADWAY IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY., <br />WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Redwood City, did, <br />on the 18th day of November, 1929, pass and adopt Resolution <br />of Intention No. L-6 to order the following work to be done <br />and improvements to be made in said City of Redwood City, to - <br />wit: <br />169 <br />
