BeeRer <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City. <br />Councilman Dusel, seconded by Councilman McCarthy moved to authorize the Clerk <br />and Mayor to deliver a deed dated March 17, 1930 between the City of Redwood <br />City, party of the first part, and Asa E. Hull, the party of the second <br />part, for a strip of land 2.00 ft. in width parallel and adjacent to the <br />southerly line of Broadway and northerly therefrom, said deed to be <br />delivered to Asa E. Hull on receipt of $1,200.00. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Hildebrant, seconded by Councilman Dusel, offers the following <br />Resolution and moves its adoption. <br />RESOLVED, that whereas, the Board of Supervisors of the <br />County of San Mateo, State of California, intends and pro- <br />poses to institute proceedings under and pursuant to the <br />provisions of that certain Act of the Legislature of the <br />State of California known and designated as the 110ounty <br />Improvement Act of 1921" approved June 3rd, 1921, and <br />amendments thereto, for the purpose of ordering certain work <br />and improvements to be done and made, as follows, to -wit: <br />the construction of sanitary sewers upon the following streets <br />in the City of Redwood City, to -wit: Woodside Road from the <br />southerly limits of Redwood City to Rutherford Avenue; <br />Charter Street from Hancock street to the northeast line <br />of the Southern Pacific Railroad Companyts main line might <br />of way; Charter Street from the Middlefield Road to the <br />northeast end of Charter street • and E1 Camino Real from <br />the easterly limits of Redwood pity to Charter street. <br />NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />does resolve as follows, to -wit: <br />Section 1. The City of Redwood City and the Council <br />of said City hereby consents to the use by the Board of <br />Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, <br />of the portions of the Woodside Road, Charter Street and <br />E1 Camino Real hereinbefore described herein for the <br />construction and maintenance of said sanitary sewers. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of said City of Redwood City is <br />hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of this <br />Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of said County of <br />171 <br />
