172 <br />b <br />San Mateo. <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was <br />duly and regularly passed and adopted by the Council of <br />the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof J <br />held on the 17th day of March, 1930, by the following r <br />vote: <br />Ayes, Councilmen, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.Stafford, W.J.Dusel, <br />C.J.Hildebrant,. P.A.McCarthy,'H.A.Beeger. <br />Noes, Councilmen, NONE. <br />Absent, Councilmen, G. W. McNulty. <br />i <br />W. A. Price <br />Clerk of the Uity of Redwood City. <br />Approved: i <br />H. A. Beeer <br />Mayor of the City of ttedwood Uity. <br />,Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Dusel, offered the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS, PROFILES AND SPECIFICATIONS NO.M-2 <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, <br />County of San Mateo, State of California, that C. L. Dimmitt, <br />City Engineer of said City, be and he is hereby ordered to <br />prepare plans, profiles, detailed drawings, specifications <br />and estimates for doing the following work and making the <br />following improvements in said City, to -wit: <br />r, <br />That Ebener Street from the southeasterly line of the <br />roadway of Roosevelt Avenue to the northwesterly line of <br />y <br />the roadway of Oak Avenue, including all intersections, <br />terminations and opposite terminations or portions thereof <br />within the lines and limits of said Ebener Street herein- <br />before described, be improved as follows, to -wit: <br />(a) That the hereinbefore described street be graded <br />1 <br />for the full width thereof and for the length hereinbefore <br />mentioned, excepting however a strip thirteen and one-half <br />(132) feet in width on each side of the centerline thereof <br />which is now paved. <br />(b) That cement concrete combined curbs and gutters be <br />constructed on both sides of the hereinbefore mentioned <br />street, the curb portion of said cement concrete combined <br />curbs and gutters to be six (6) inches across the top and <br />eleven (11) inches deep and the.gutter portion of said <br />cement concrete combined curbs and gutters be eighteen <br />(18) inches wide and to be six (6) inches thick next to <br />the pavement and five (5) inches thick next to the curb and <br />said cement concrete combined curbs and gutters to be <br />built and constructed at one time so,that there shall be i <br />no joint between the curb and gutter, provided; however, <br />that a three (3) inch base or cushion of broken stone shall <br />be placed under all cement concrete combined curb and. <br />gutter to be constructed as herein provided. <br />That cement concrete combined curb and gutter of the <br />sizes and dimensions herein provided, be constructed upon i <br />all corners of the intersecting and terminating streets <br />within the lines and limits of that portion of Ebener <br />Street hereinbefore described; excepting however the 4 <br />corners of Ebener Street and Roosevelt Avenue, and provided <br />further that a three (3) inch base or cushion of broken <br />stone.shall be placed under.all cement concrete combined curb <br />and gutter to be constructed upon the corners as herein <br />provided. <br />(c) That cement concrete side walks four (4) inches <br />thick and five (5) feet wide be constructed on both sides <br />of said Ebener Street herein described; said side walks <br />to be laid upon a base or cushion of broken stone three <br />(3) inches in thickness and five (5) feet six (6) inches <br />in width. Said sidewalks shall also be constructed upon <br />all corners'of intersecting and terminating streets within <br />i, <br />s� <br />
