184 <br />in a straight line northwesterly of the end of the existing gutter <br />on Main Street southwesterly to the north-easterly right of way <br />line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, and from the south- <br />westerly right of way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company <br />to the existing sidewalk at the northeasterly side of the concrete <br />bridge on said Maple Street between the Southern Pacific Railroad <br />Company's right of way line and Lathrop Street, and from the <br />southwesterly edge 'of the existing sidewalk at the southwesterly <br />line of said bridge to the existing sidewalk at the production in <br />a straight line of the division line between lots one and two, <br />block six, Diller's Addition, hereinbefore referred to herein. <br />5. That two (2) hydraulic cement concrete storm water <br />inlets with cast iron frames and gratings be constructed, one <br />(1) on each side of Maple Street at the southerly end of the <br />hydraulic cement concrete pavement herein ordered constructed <br />on said Maple Street; said storm water inlets to be provided <br />with a twelve (12) inch concrete pipe drain forty-eight (48) <br />feet in length, connecting said inlets and to extend to the <br />creek. <br />6. That the area of the concrete bridge on Maple Street, <br />between the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's right of way <br />and Lathrop Street and between the edges of gutters on said bridge <br />be paved with an asphaltic concrete pavement five (5) inches <br />thick at the centerline of street, and tapering to a thickness <br />of two (2) inches at edges of gutters. <br />That Maple Street in the City of Redwood City be improved <br />by having constructed thereon on the southeasterly side thereof <br />from the production in a straight line of the southeasterly curb <br />line of said Maple Street northeasterly across Lathrop Street <br />and the production of the dividing line between lots one and two, <br />block six, Diller's Addition, hereinbefore mentioned extended <br />southeasterly across said Maple Street, a hydraulic cement <br />concrete combined curb and gutter, the curb portion of said cement <br />concrete combined curb and gutter to be six (6) inches across <br />the top and twelve (12) inches deep and the gutter portion of said <br />cement concrete combined curb and gutter to be three (3) feet wide <br />and to be six (6) inches thick next to the pavement and six (6) <br />inches thick next to the curb and said cement concrete combined <br />curb and gutter to be built and constructed at one time so that <br />there shall be no joint between the curb and gutter; provided <br />however, that said cement concrete combined curb and gutter to be <br />laid upon a base of broken stone three (3) inches thick after <br />rolling with a cusion of sand one (1) inch thick between the <br />broken stone base and the hydraulic cement concrete combined <br />curb and gutter to be built as herein provided. <br />That Lathrop Street in the City of Redwood City be <br />improved by having constructed therein one (1)"hydraulic <br />cement concrete storm water inlet with cast iron frame and <br />grating at the end of the curb return on the southwesterly <br />side of Lathrop Street at Maple Street; said storm water <br />inlet to be provided with a twelve (12) inch concrete pipe <br />drain thirty-two (32) feet in length extending to the creek. <br />That Lathrop Street from the northwesterly line of the <br />concrete bridge between Elm Street and Maple Street north- <br />westerly to the production in a straight line of the south- <br />easterly durb line of Maple Street northeasterly across said <br />Lathrop Street including the portion of termination of <br />Lathrop Street and Maple Street included in the foregoing <br />description, be improved as follows, to -wit: <br />1. That Lathrop Street above mentioned for the full <br />width of the roadway thereof and for the length herein <br />provided be graded and paved with a hydraulic cement concrete <br />pavement six (6) inches thick laid upon a base of broken <br />stone three (3) inches thick after rolling with a cushion <br />of sand one (1) inch thick laid between said broken stone base <br />and said concrete pavement; provided, however, that said <br />concrete pavement shall have a thickness of eight (8) inches <br />along the centerline of the roadwa of said Lathrop Street <br />and taper to a thickness of six (6T inches at poihts three <br />(3) feet on each side of said centerline. <br />2. That hydraulic cement concrete curbs integral with <br />pavement six (6) inches across the top and twelve (12) inches <br />deep be constructed on both sides of the hereinabove described <br />portion of Lathrop Street including all corners of inter- <br />sections or teminations; said hydraulic cement concrete curbs <br />to be laid upon a base of broken stone three (3) inches thick <br />after rolling with a cushion of sand one (1) inch thick laid <br />between the broken stone base and said concrete curbs. <br />J <br />Di <br />
