Also that Chestnut Street in the City of Redwood City <br />from the northeasterly line of Heller Street northeasterly <br />to the southwesterly line of the Middlefield Road and from <br />the northeasterly line of the Middlefield Road northeasterly <br />to the southwesterly line of Stambaugh Street and also that <br />portion of the intersection of Chestnut Street with Stambaugh <br />Street lying between the southeasterly line of Chestnut Street <br />extended northeasterly across Stambaugh Street and a line <br />parallel to and distant two (2) feet southeasterly from the <br />southeasterly rail of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's <br />spur track; excepting however from the above described work <br />on Chestnut Street the area embraced between the rails and <br />a line parallel to and two (2) feet distant from each rail <br />of the Southern Pacific Railroad Companyts spur track on <br />Chestnut Street, be improved as follows, to -wit: <br />1. That all that portion of Chestnut Street herein <br />described be improved by being graded and having constructed <br />thereon a hydraulic cement concrete pavement six (6) inches <br />thick laid upon a base of broken stone three (3) inches thick <br />after rolling with a cushion of sand one (1) inch thick <br />laid between said broken stone base and said concrete pave- <br />ment; provided however, that said cement concrete pavement <br />shall have a thickness of eight (8) inches along each edge <br />thereof nearest the center of said Chestnut Street and shall <br />taper to a thickness of six (6) inches three (3) feet from <br />each said edges. <br />Reference is hereby made to the patent license agreement <br />of McEverlast, Incorporated, dated the 12th day of October, <br />1928, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City <br />of Redwood City, and the same is made a part hereof. <br />y' Reference is hereby made to the patent license agreement <br />of Concrete Curing Inc. dated the 2nd day of December, 1929, <br />and now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of <br />Redwood City, and the same im made a part hereof. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 7th <br />day of April, 1930, by the following vote: <br />j Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing <br />Resolution, Councilmen: W.
