t' <br />on said Maple Street; said storm water inlets to be provided with <br />a twelve (12) inch concrete pipe drain forty-eight (48) feet in <br />length, connecting said inlets and to extend to the creek. <br />6. chat the area of the concrete bridge on Maple Street, <br />A between the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's right of way <br />and Lathrop Street and between the edges of gutters on said <br />bridge be paved with an asphaltic concrete pavement five (5) <br />inches thick at the centerline of street, and tapering to a <br />thickness of two (2) inches at edges of gutters. <br />That Maple Street in the City of Redwood City be improved <br />by having constructed thereon on the southeasterly side thereof <br />from the production in a straight line of the southeasterly <br />curb line of said Maple Street northeasterly across Lathrop <br />Street and the production of the dividing line between lots <br />one and two, block six, Diller's Addition, hereinbefore <br />mentioned extended southeasterly across said Maple Street, a <br />hydraulic cement concrete combined curb and gutter, the curb <br />portion of said cement concrete combined curb and gutter to <br />be six (6) inches across the top and twelve (12) inches deep <br />and the gutter portion of said cement concrete combined curb and <br />gutter to be three (3) feet wide and to be six (6) inches thick <br />next to the pavement and six (6) inches thick next to the curb <br />and said cement concrete combined curb and gutter to be built <br />and constructed at one time so that there shall_ be no joint <br />between the curb and gutter; provided however, that said cement <br />concrete combined curb and gutter to be laid upon a base of <br />broken stone three (3) inches thick after rolling with a cushion <br />of sand one (1) inch thick between the broken stone base and the <br />hydraulic cement concrete combined curb and gutter to be built <br />as herein provided. <br />That Lathrop Street in the City of Redwood City be improved <br />by having constructed therein one (1) hydraulic cement concrete <br />storm water inlet with cast iron frame and grating at the end of <br />the curb return on the southwesterly side of Lathrop Street at <br />Maple Street; said storm water inlet to be provided with a <br />twelve (12) inch concrete pipe drain thirty-two (32) feet in <br />length extending to the creek. <br />That Lathrop Street from the northwesterly line of the <br />�A concrete bridge between Elm Street and Maple Street northwesterly <br />to the production in a straight line of the southeasterly curb <br />line of Maple Street northeasterly across said Lathrop Street <br />including tre portion of termination of Lathrop Street and Maple <br />Street included in the foregoing description, be improved as <br />follows, to -wit: <br />1. That Lathrop Street above mentioned for the full width <br />of the roadway thereof and for the length herein provided be <br />raded and paved with a hydraulic cement concrete pavement six <br />6) inches thick laid upon a base of broken stone three (3) <br />inches thick after rolling with a cushion of sand one (1) <br />inch thick laid between said broken stone base and said concrete <br />pavement; provided however, that said concrete pavement shall <br />have a thickness of eight (8) inches along the centerline of <br />the roadway of said Lathrop Street and taper to a thickness of <br />six (6) inches at points three (3) feet on each side of said <br />centerline. <br />2. That hydraulic cement concrete curbs integral with <br />pavement six (6) inches across the top and twelve (12) inches <br />deep be constructed on both sides of the hereinabove described <br />portion of Lathrop Street including all corners of intersections <br />or terminations; said hydraulic cement concrete curbs to be laid <br />upon a base of broken stone three (3) inches thick after rolling <br />with a cushion of sand one (1) inch thick laid between the broken <br />stone base and said concrete curbs. <br />Also that Chestnut Street in the City of Redwood City from <br />the northeasterly line of Heller Street northeasterly to the <br />southwesterly line of the Middlefield Road and from the <br />northeasterly line of the Middlefield Road northeasterly to the <br />southwesterly line of Stambaugh Street and also that portion of <br />the intersection of Chestnut Street with Stambaugh Street lying <br />between the southeasterly line of Chestnut Street extended <br />northeasterly across Stambaugh Street and a line parallel to <br />and distant two (2) feet southeasterly from the southeasterly <br />rail of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's spur track; <br />excepting however from the above described work on Chestnut <br />Street the area embraced between the rails and a line parallel <br />to and two (2) feet distant from each rail of the Southern <br />Pacific Railroad Company's spur track on Chestnut Street, be <br />improved as follows, to -wit: <br />M <br />
