RDSOLVDD, that it is the in- tention of the Council of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, to order the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town of Redwood City, to -wit: The removal of the curb and a Portion of the sidewalk -on both sides of Broadway from Washing- ton' Street, to Main Street to a lino twenty-five and one-half feet distant from and parallel to the center line of said Broadway, ex- cepting, however, the concrete bridge on Broadway, and also the removal of the curb 'and a par - tion of "the sidewalk on both sides of Main Street from Broadway to Maple Street to a line twenty-five and one-half feet distant from and parallel to the center line of said Main Street, including the curb returns at all intersecting and terminating streets within the lines of said portions of Broad- way and Main Street above de- scribed; provided, however, that when said sidewalk is removed as herein provided for and a seared line In the existing side- walk is not met such additional width of sidewalk shall be re- moved to meet the first soared line therein. it The removal of the existing Pavement on Broadway from the center line of Washington Street la the center line of Main Street, excepting the concrete bridge on Broadway, and on Main Street from the northerly line of Broad- way to Maple Street from a line parallel with and distant twenty feet on either side of the center lines of said portions of Broad- way and Main Street herein de. scribed and the present existing curbs on both sides of said por- tions of Broadway and Main Street herein described, and also that on all intersecting and ter-' ' urinating streets within tine lines of the above described portions or Broadway and Maire Street- a strip of the existing pavement is i to be removed adjacent to thel 3 I r� n
