STAFFORD <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />The City Engineer submitted for approval plans and drawings for the Woodside Road <br />Concrete Culverts authorized under recent bond issue, and upon.motion of Councilman <br />Hildebrant, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the plans and drawings were approved as <br />sriiimi.tted and the Clerk was instructed to ask for sealed proposals for doing the <br />work, said 'bids to be opened September 2d. <br />The Building Inspector presented to the Council his several affidavits of posting <br />and mailing notices to property owners.of record for the following described <br />property, They were, upon motion of Councilman Hildebrant, seconded by Councilman <br />McNulty, ordered filed. After the Building Inspector had testified that each and <br />all of the buildings affected were unusable, dilapidated _"_.could not be repaired.. <br />the following'resolutions:were=adopted declarin& said buildingg.a.public nuisance <br />and empowering the Building Inspector to raze or have said buildings removed if the <br />property owner did not do so within thirty days from the passage of the resolution: <br />RESOLVED by the Council Iof the City of Redwood City, that whereas, <br />C, Drathman, the Building Inspector of the said City of Redwood City, <br />did, as required by Ordinance No. 303, post a notice to abate -nuisance <br />upon the hereinafter described real property and did send a copy of <br />said notice so posted by registered mail, postage prepaid, to the. <br />owners of said hereinafter described real property, as said owner is <br />'listed upon the books of the City Assessor of said City of Redwood <br />City, and. <br />WHEREAS in and by said notice to abate nuisance said Building <br />Inspector of the City of Redwood iCity.did .!'.lac Uanday. the 4th day of <br />August, 1930, at the hour of 8:00,61.6lock RiMd 01441dtdOW at the <br />Council Chamber in the City Hall of said City of Redwood City, as the time <br />and place when the owner of the biuilding situated upon said herein- <br />after described real property could appear and be heard and bhow.cause <br />why said building should.not be condemned as a public nuisance and <br />abated by re -constructing or properly repairing said building or by <br />razing or re -moving the some; and <br />WHEREAS, said time of hearing was regularly continued by this <br />Council from the 4th'day of August; 1930, ''at the hour'of 8:00 o*olock <br />P.M. until Monday the 18th day of August, 19300 at the hour of 8:00 <br />o'clock P.M.; and <br />WHEREAS, said Council did proceed with said hearing and no <br />objections or representations being made by the owner of the build- <br />ing situated.upon the hereinafter described real property, and said <br />Council having heard the testimony of the Building Inspector in <br />I <br />I <br />0 <br />
