M-15 <br />-RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the <br />public interest and convenience require and said Council hereby orders <br />the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said City <br />of Redwood City, to -wit: <br />That trees be planted upon the following named streets within <br />the following lines and limits, to -wit: <br />Myrtle Street from Jefferson Avenue to Brewster Avenue; Lowell <br />Street from James Street to Brewster Avenue; King Street from Jefferson <br />Avenue to Brewster Avenue; Jeter Street from Jefferson Avenue to <br />Brevister Avenue, Iris Street from Piadison Avenue to Brewster Avenue; <br />Hudson Street from Jefferson Avenue to t1rewster Avenue; Grand Street <br />from Jefferson Avenue to Brewster Avenue; Fulton Street from James <br />Avenue to Brewster Avenue; Hawes Street from Madison Avenue to Jefferson <br />Avenue; Fulton Street from Vera Avenue to Jefferson Avenue; Cleveland <br />Street from Vera Avenue to Harrison Avenue; Duane Street from Harrison <br />AV enue to James Avenue; Clinton Street from Vera Avenue to Harrison <br />Aenue; Adams Street from Vera Avenue to Harrison Avenue; Brewster <br />Avenue from Fulton Street to Nevada Street; Katherine Street from <br />Elwood Street to Nevada Street; Lexington Avenue from its northerly <br />termination to Myrtle Street; Jefferson Avenue from Cleveland Street <br />to Hawes Street; Jefferson Avenue from El Camino Real to Fulton Street; <br />Madison Avenue from Fulton Street to Hawes Street;'Madison Ayenue from <br />E1 Camino Real to Fulton Street; Hudson Street from Madison Avenue to <br />Vera Avenue. <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City, that said trees so to be planted as aforesaid shall be cared for <br />and maintained for a period of five (5) years from the date of the <br />passage of this Resolution of Intention. <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by.the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City, that all of the improvements proposed herein be and the same are <br />hereby referred to C.L. Dimmitt, City Engineer of said City of Redwood <br />City, for the purpose of making a report thereon in writing, stating <br />the following, to suit: <br />1. Plans and specifications for the work to be performed and the <br />general method and manner of making the improvement. <br />2. An estimate of the cost of said improvement including the in- <br />cidental expenses in connection therewith and the annual cost of main- <br />tenance thereof for a period of five years. <br />3. A diagram of the property affected or benefited by the proposed <br />work and improvements and to be assessed to pay the expenses thereof, <br />including the annual maintenance; such diagram shall show each separate <br />lot, piece or subdivision of land and the relative location of the same <br />to the work proposed to be done all within the limits of the assessment <br />district, each of which lots, pieces or subdivisions shall be given a <br />separate number in red ink upon said diagram. <br />4. The proposed assessment of the total amount of the costs and <br />expenses of the proposed improvement (including all incidental expenses) <br />upon the lots, pieces or subdivisions of land within said assessment <br />district as shovm by said diagram sufficient to cover the total expenses <br />of the improvement.
