<br />NOW TBEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Red-
<br />wood City that, said Council hereby declares and determines that said
<br />protests are not made or signed by the owners of a majority of the
<br />property fronting on the streets, avenues, lanes; courts, places and
<br />pathways or parts thereof included within the assessment district
<br />described and set forth in the report of. the City Engineer herein
<br />referred to, and
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by -the Council of the City of Redwood City
<br />that said protests and objections and each and all thereof be and the
<br />same are hereby overruled and denied, and
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by -the Council of the City* of Redwood
<br />City that the report of the City Engineer filed under said Resolution
<br />of Intention No. I.1-15, hereinbefore mentioned; be'and the same is hereby
<br />adopted and approved as a whole and the assessment incorporated in
<br />said report be and the same is hereby confirmed, and
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council o£ -the City of Redwood
<br />City that the improvements' described in said Resolution of Intention
<br />No. I4--15 be made and that the assessment set forth'in the report of the
<br />City Engineer on file herein; be levied upon'the lots, parts of lots
<br />and lands fronting upon the streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts and
<br />places or parts thereof along and in vrhich`said'improvoment described
<br />in said Resolution of Intention No. LI -15 is to be made.
<br />Passed,and::adoptea by the Council of the City of Redwood City
<br />at a regular adjourned meeting thereof, held on the 12th day of January,
<br />1931, by the following vote:
<br />Ayes.and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,

<br />D R Stafford.

<br />The City Attorney submitted affidavits of posting and publication under Resolution
<br />of Intention 11-122 paving of certain Central Park streets, and they were ordered
<br />filed upon motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Beeger. After
<br />discussion Councilman Dusel, seconded by Councilman McNulty, offered the
<br />following resolution covering the assessments under this Resolution of Intention:
<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING STREET ASSESSMENT NO. M-12.
<br />WHEREAS, the assessment for street vrork done under that certain
<br />contract dated the 10th day of September*. 1930, between W.O. TYSON, the
<br />party of the first part, and C.L. DIMMITT, as Superintendent of Streets
<br />of the City of Redwood'City, party of the second -part, for the doing of
<br />all street work`mentioned and' described in Resolution of Intention No..
<br />M-12, passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redivood City on
<br />the 21st day of July; 1930, and now ori file in the office of the Clerk
<br />of said City, to which RQsolution of Intontion reference is hereby made
<br />for a description of said work, was filed in the office of the Clerk of
<br />said City of Redwood City on the 26th day of December 1930; and
<br />WHEREAS, said City Clerk did thereupon fix Monday, the 12th day
<br />of January, 1931, at the hour of 7e3O'olcloek P.M. of said day, at the
<br />meeting place of the Council of the City of Redwood City, in the Council
<br />Chamber in the City Hall on, Webster Street"in said City, as the time and
<br />place of hearing on said assessment, as required by law, and as the time
<br />and place for making'vrritten objections thereto, as provided for in the
<br />Improvement Act of 1911; and
