D <br />D <br />A <br />A <br />J <br />Of collecting them. <br />The City Manager spoke about the request that the City of Redwood City join with <br />other cities in proceedings against the Pacific Gas do Electric Company for the <br />adjustment of power rates but as the matter was a little indefinite it was <br />referred back to the City Manager to ascertain what other cities are doing. <br />The City Engineer reported that he had interviewed the property owner just outside <br />the City limits in Valota Park and that this property owner had agreed to <br />cooperate with the City in the use of the name of Anomar Street. <br />Mayor Stafford announced the appointment of Carl Mable to serve on the Pulgas <br />Mosquito Abatement District committee. <br />The approved claims were ordered paid, on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded <br />by Councilman Hildebrant. <br />Adjournment. <br />of • �' <br />B. E. Myers <br />City Cl <br />The City Manager presented copy of Senate Bill No. 386 which was read by Councilman <br />McCarthy. Upon motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman %661, <br />the Council went on record as favoring this bill and instructed the Clerk to <br />inform Assemblyman Parkman and Senator Cleveland to that effect. <br />367 <br />
