The conclusion arrived at <br />by the entire committee -uas embodied in its report and specifically requested the <br />Council to call a special election during the month of September for the purpose <br />of issuing bonds in the sum of $65,000 to acquire and equip certain recommended <br />recreational areas. The subject matter was commented on also by Councilman McCarthy, <br />Hinman, Beeger, and others. Finally after having considered the matter at some <br />length, upon motion.of Councilman Hinman, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, it was <br />decided to accept the committee's recommendation to call an election sometime in <br />September and the City P_ttorney was instructed to arrage the necessary proceedings. <br />While considerable informal discussion took place concerning the easement from the <br />Southern Pacific Company, the insurance on 1lezes Hall, and the deficiency in <br />connection with the 1915 -Act Bonds, no formal tetion was taken. <br />The approved claims were ordered paid, on motion of Councilman Hinman, seconded by <br />Councilman Dusel. <br />Adjournment to 8:00 p.m., Mlonday, June 22nd. <br />DCD <br />Y.�� <br />B.
