429 Councilman Lambert, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, offered the following resolution fixing the prevailing wage scale to be used in connection with public contracts: i RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the annexed scale of wages of the various mechanics and workmen as named and shown on said annexed list be and the same are hereby declared to be the prevailing scale of wages in this locality of such mechanics and workmen. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of October, 1931, by the following vote: Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen: H A Beeger, W J Dusel, C J Hildebrant, C. G. Lambert, P A McCarthy, G W McNulty, D R Stafford. " Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen: None. Absent, Councilmen: None. The question of the annoyance caused by hitch hikers was raised and the City Manager was asked to write the California State Automobile Apsociation about it. On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, it was voted to donate $50 to the American Legion for its drum corps.material.
