<br />Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Lambert, offered the following resolution con—
<br />firming street assessment No. N-2 (Extension of Main Streot). In connection with this,
<br />j The City Attorney explained that certain claims had)been filed against W.O. Tyson; the
<br />contractor, but that in order to release the assessment Mr. Tyson had furnished a bond
<br />} in the sum of $400 and in his (the attorney) opinion it would be proper to confirm
<br />' the assessment that Mr. Tyson might get the money.

<br />� k RESOLUTION CONFIRMING STREET ASSESSMENT N0._N-2
<br />WHEREAS, the assessment for street work done under that certain
<br />contract dated the 2nd day of May, 1931, between W.O. TYSON, the party
<br />of the first part, and C.L. DIMMITT, as Superintendent of Streets of .
<br />the City of Redwood City, party of the second -part, for the doing of
<br />all street work mentioned and described in Resolution of Intention No.
<br />N-2, passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on
<br />1 the 16th day of L4arch, 1931, and now on file in the office of the Clerk
<br />of said city, to which Resolution of Intention reference is hereby made
<br />�{ for a description of said work, waa filed in the office of the Clerk of
<br />�! said City of Redwood City on the 2nd day of November, 1931; and
<br />WRERRAS, said City Clerk did thereupon fix Monday, the 7th day
<br />of December, 1931, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m. of said day, at the
<br />meeting place of the Council of the City of Redwood City, in the Coun—
<br />cil Chamber in the City Hall on Middlefield Road in said city, as the
<br />time and place of hearing on said assessment, as required by law, and
<br />as the time and place for making written objections thereto, as provided
<br />for in the Improvement Act of 1911; and
<br />WHEREAS, notice of the filing of said assessment and of the
<br />time fixed for hearing thereon was duly given by posting, publishing and
<br />mailing,'as required by law, as appears from the affidavits of B.E. MYERS
<br />and D. HEYDBNFELDT, now on file in the office of the Clerk of said City
<br />of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, at the time and place last herein metitioned, no objec-
<br />tions of any kind were made against said assessment; and
<br />WHEREAS, said Council of the City of Redwood City has now acquired
<br />jurisdiction thereon;
<br />TAERF.FORr BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood
<br />City, County of San Mateo; State of California, that the assessment

<br />above mentioned for street work d one under Resolution of Intention No.
<br />N-2 hereinbefore referred to herein be and the same is hereby aprroved
<br />r
<br />and adopted, and the Superintendent of Streets of said City of Redwood

<br />City is hereby directed to attach a warrant thereto and deliver same to
<br />I; M,
<br />the contractor, as required by law.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at
<br />a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of December, 1931, by the
