<br />Affidavits of the publishing, posting and mailing of notice of filing street assessment
<br />were ordered filed, on motion of CounciLnan McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dusel,
<br />Councilman Seeger, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, offered the following
<br />resolution:
<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
<br />WHEREAS, under the direction of the Council of the City of Red—
<br />s7ood City, the Street Superintendent did, on the 30th day of October,
<br />1931, file with the Clerk of said city the amended assessment for street
<br />work done under Resolution of Intention No. N-14 and Resolution of In—
<br />tention No. J-6, and assessed against Lot 11, in Block 3, as shown on
<br />the "Map of Oak Knoll Manor", of record in the Recorder's office of
<br />the County of San Mateo, State of California. Reference is hereby made
<br />to said Resolution of Intention No. H-14 and Resolution of Intention No.
<br />J-6, now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City
<br />for further particulars, and
<br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Redwood City did thereupon
<br />fix Monday, the 7th day of December, 1931, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock
<br />p.m. of said day, at the meeting place of the Council of the City of
<br />Redwood City, as the time and place for a hearing on said amended
<br />assessment and as the time and place when any person interested in
<br />said amended assessment and having any objection to the correctness
<br />thereof, shall appeal to the Council of the City of Redwood City by
<br />briefly stating in writing their grounds of appeal, and
<br />WHEREAS, notice of the filing of said amended street assessment
<br />and of time fixed for hearing thereon was duly given by publication,
<br />as required by law, as appears from the affidavits of B.E. Myers, City
<br />Clerk, and D. Heydenfeldt, now of record in the office of the Clerk
<br />of said City of Redwood City, and
<br />WHEREAS, no objections of any kind were made to said amended
<br />street assessment.
<br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood
<br />City that said amended assessment hereinbefore referred to, be and the
<br />same is hereby adopted, approved and confirmed.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City
<br />at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of December, 1931, by
<br />the following vote:
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution,
<br />Councilmen: H A Beeger, W J Dusel, C J Hildebrant, C G Lambert, P A McCarthy,
<br />G W McNulty, D R Stafford.
<br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing resolution,
<br />Councilmen: None.
<br />Absent: Councilmen None.

<br />Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Dusel, offered resolution requesting the
<br />Supervisors of San Mateo County to appropriate 13,000 for the purchase of the
<br />necessary rock and oil for constructing three foot oil macadam shoulders on
<br />Woodside Road within the corporate limits of Redwood City. Carried.
<br />The approved claims were ordered paid, on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by
<br />Councilman Hildebrant.
