<br />On motion of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman Thorning the City Engineer
<br />be instructed to pull out the well casing in the new well and make arrangment on the Bocelli
<br />property or another location. Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dearborn, 'the City Engineer and,
<br />City Attorney office rent be increased to $25.00 per month, Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the City Purchasing
<br />Agent and the Supt of Streets be authorized to purchase a two wheel concrete mixing machine,

<br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Stafford the/Purchasing Agent
<br />purchase from the Parlman Supply Co, 250 feet 22 inch Murray double jacket fire hose for
<br />the fire Department. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the printing of
<br />3000 city maps on bond paper be given to the Redwood City Standard. Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Thorning, the City take a
<br />half page in the California Real Estate Magazine, IVlotion carried.
<br />Affidavits of C.L.Dimmitt, Supt of Streets and H.L.Winter, in the matter of post-
<br />ing notices of improvement under Resolution of Intention No.L-2, was on motion of Council-;
<br />man Dearborn, seconded by Councilman Stafford said affidavits be received and filed.

<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING TETE WORK N0, L-2
<br />RESOLVED TEIAT WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Redwood City did, on the 4th
<br />day of February, 19299 pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No.L-2 to order the here-
<br />infater described work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town of Redwood
<br />City; and
<br />WHEREAS, notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. 1-2, headed
<br />"NOTICE OF IMPROVEMBNT", were duly and regularly posted along the line of said contempl-
<br />ated work and improvements and in front of all property liable to be assessed therefor,
<br />and on all of the streets in the district to be assessed therefor, in time, form, manner
<br />and number as required by law, as appears from the affidavits of C.L.Dimmitt, Superinten-
<br />dent of Streets.of the Town of Redwood City, and H.L.Wwinter', and now on file in the office
<br />of the Clerk of said Town; and -
<br />WHERAS, it appears from the affidavit of said C.L.Dimmitt and H.L.Winter, here_
<br />inbefore referred to herein, that the posting of said notices of improvement as aforesaid
<br />was completed on the 19th day of February, 1929; and
<br />WHEREAS, in and by said Resolution of Intention N6.L-2 and the notices of the
<br />passage therof posted as aforesaid, said Council of the Town of Redwood City fixed Monday,
<br />the 4th day of March, 1929, at the hour of 7.30 o'clock P.M.of said day, at the meeting
<br />place of said Council in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall on Webster Street in said
<br />Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, as the day, hour and place
<br />when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improve-
<br />ments described in said Resolutmon of Intention No.L-2, or to the district to be assessed
<br />for said work and improvements, or to the proposed grades at which said work and.
